This newly opened restaurant deserves some praise, no doubt I will become a regular. Service is…read moregreat, the family running it are really super nice. Home-made food, filling and at great value. Adding a south american touch to the rue defacq/bailli/louise neighbourhood!

Pachamama had a stall setup at Couleur Cafe this past weekend and in the search of something…read moredifferent (besides the usual African, Asian, etc. fare) my boyfriend came across Pachamama. I obviously can't attest to anything concerning the restaurant, location, etc. but the food was good. He had a Chilean hotdog, which is a normal hotdog with a handful of different sauces, including guacamole. He liked the concept but said the the actual hotdog (meat, if you can call it that?) lacked in taste. Basically, it was a normal hotdog. He mentioned if it would have been a better sausage it would have made the whole thing excellent. We also shared a vegetarian empanada, which was filled with spinach. I wasn't all that impressed, probably because I was expecting some cheese too (feta?). But that's my own fault, I should have just ordered the cheese version. For dessert, I had this cake that looked very special and unlike anything I've had before so I gave it a try (I believe it's called Milhojas cake but don't quote me on that). It includes a very thin cookie that is round and the size of a normal cake and it is layered multiple times to make a cake. It is then topped with caramel. This then cut like a normal cake. I hope the description gives you all a good idea of how truly awesome and unique this thing tasted! Also, the people serving us were quite friendly and nice to talk to while we were waiting for our food to be made up. I'm looking forward to trying this restaurant at its actual location at some point!

THE RICE WAS DRY , AND SAUCE WAS HARD AND DRYED OUT from microwave , but still say with a straight face , NO MICROWAVE !!! PRICE TO START FOR IS WAY TO EXPENCIVE ! Disappointing, disgusting and definitely not real Mexican food. My cousin and I were craving tacos…read moreand as it was a bank holiday it was the only tex-mex open. No need to mention there's no fuc**** way we're coming back. The nachos were barely crispy and the chili dressing tasteless. Our Margaritas were mostly made up of water, sprite and sugar loooots of sugar. The tacos were just unimpressive or maybe they were as they arrived cold af. In addition to that : the prices are just a mofo joke ! It's way too expensive for what you get. Poor service and low quality -yet expensive- food. Don't go. I mean for real just don't :)
