I've never had a bad experience with the dozens upon dozens of To-Go orders I've placed or when eating in. My son's go to meal is the cheese enchiladas with rice (with queso to go on to the rice) and fish tacos. My hubby typically goes for the grilled tilapia plate with a side of flour tortillas and a couple fish tacos, while I usually go for the pollo fundido (or beef enchiladas with rice, topped with queso, & a hard beef taco)... but I've yet to find anything on their menu that wasn't great, so it's all about what you're in there mood for. Currently they don't serve alcohol, but that will probably change within the next year or so... but don't let that deter you. Their to-go food is always hot & fresh, so I grab some Dos Eques (beer) for my hubby from the store in the way back home. We really are fortunate to have a great little restaurant so close to our Gilbert/Leesville home (where there's so few options)! Every local should make this their 1st choice for dining in or out.

We finished our meal and again, our waiter never returned. I asked another staff member if we could get our check. I finally got up and walked around the restaurant until I found our waiter and asked for our bill. We were there for an hour and 45 minutes. To wrap up, the food was good but the service was sub par. I have stopped in sunday and monday both days for Chori Pollo (my Favorite dish) …read more Sunday the Chori Pollo had a good amount of chicken and almost non-existent Chorizo and Queso but had a good amount of rice and beans . Even though short changed on the Chorizo and Queso it still tasted great . Monday the Chori Pollo had a good amount of chicken and almost non-existent Chorizo and Queso , this time what little queso that was there was so watered down and had less than half the rice and beans . Chori Pollo this time was subpar at best . My wife got Parrillada and there was a good amount but only 3 shrimp total . My one son got Carne Asada again little to no rice and beans The other got the 2 Burrito meal and his was perfect Our Nachos although 45 mins late were small but amazing flavor and were comped due to a kitchen issue I do understand they are new and on monday there were some serious kitchen issues that is why I still gave a 3.5 * Need to work on portion sizes and Consistency of food On a serious positive the waiter on monday was amazing , he apologized many times and kept us updated on everything . Sunday's staff were all amazing just like they were when they were at Ernesto's A lot of the staff you already know and love I am sure they are still trying to figure things out and dealing with hiccups along the way Don't be shy still give it a try

The chips that they serve with the salsa were so crisp and light. They were very delicious. I ordered the shrimp and scallops over rice with a salad. It was very delicious and cooked to perfection. My dish did not come with tortillas, but I asked for them and I must say those were the best tortillas I have ever eaten. I am uncertain if they were made in house or store-bought, but they were absolutely delicious.. I almost never ordered dessert, but I wanted to try what they offered and I must say that it was the best dessert I think I have ever had.. I love ice cream and coffee. The dessert hit spot. If you have an opportunity to order dessert, I suggest you order this, but it is so much that it would be something that you would want to share with the other people in your party!
