The event was help at Hoppin which is also a cool spot; the setup was beautiful, all different variety of flowers, I believe like 7 or 8 different variations plus some greenery. We started off with a Bingo type ice breaker so us ladies could get to know each other. We vibed out to good music and you could purchase a drink if you like(which of course I did!!!) By the time our bouquets were done, we were like old friends. Everyone's floral arrangement was unique and so pretty. Keyona & Simone are great hosts; they were fun and very knowledgeable. They navigated the room of about 20 ladies perfectly. Gleam is a perfect girls night out or just come solo because believe me you will meet a new face and connect over your love of flowers. I did!!! And the price is an even better reason to attend.

Late Friday afternoon, it dawned on us that we did not have a "family" flower for my Father in Laws…read morefuneral Saturday afternoon. I was given the job to find a florist at the last minute.. I walked into Flowers by Orlean at 4:30 PM. I meet with a nice lady named Kathy, who I apologize to for waiting until last minute... And describe what we'd like to have... We know it's last minute.. I ask Kathy just to keep it simple. A Cross arrangement, lots of blue and keep in mind, Father in Law was in the US Air Force. We agree. I pay. And leave. Saturday morning at 10 am, we walk into the Funeral Home to see this Work of Art!!! This flower received many compliments Saturday. For being "last minute", we were definitely pleased with the finished product, the service and the price. I would definitely recommend Flowers by Orlean to anyone for funeral, wedding or even anniversaries. My family was very satisfied with the arrangement Kathy made for us. Thank you Ms. Kathy!! On the recommendation of the funeral home, I was referred to Oralene and spoke with Cathy Leigh. I explained that we'd be driving down from New York, and that we wanted a very special guitar or music themed arrangement for the services. Cathy told me that her designer had done a guitar once before, and it was "awesome". So, I went with their experience, although I wouldn't be able to see anything until we actually arrived for the services. They did a stunning job; tasteful, creative and also got our very unique message on the card correct, with all names and spellings correct. Everyone who attended the services loved it, and it's currently in the family's living room giving smiles and peace to all. We stopped by today to thank this wonderful, talented team in person. They could not have been more humble, nicer or talented. Please use this great small business whenever you have a need for flowers. A million thank you's to the entire staff here.
