It had that French quality we were hoping to find. Our meal started with a glass of Sancerre wine, which is not always easy to find at restaurants in the United States. Our server Vincent prepared the perfect cheese plate for us from the cheese bar. He made sure to include a variety of textures and flavors along with a fig jam and some fruits. It was a fun way to kick off the meal. We shared the sea bass and ravioli dishes as the main course. Both were delicious and served with attention to timing. The party starts outside in La Folie Douce bar from 3pm to 5pm with live music and dancing on the tables. Situated a short walk or ski from the top of the Sauliere Express, it's easy to get to. The bouncers check ID on the door if you arrive after 3pm and no kids are allowed in the bar then, unless they are already there from dining. Awesome views from the top of the world. The party comes to an abrupt halt at 4.45pm when it's time to walk back up to the fast bubble lift or negotiate a red & blue run down.
