Edit: In response to the owner: use a different picture or call it something else, friend. You call it skirt steak. Show a skirt steak in the picture. Then the actual product is an inferior cut of meat at an inflated price. Stop being shady--that is why you put a letter asking people not to review (who does that?). Owners of restaurants should post pictures of what they actually serve (not images of someone else's food), and I have done that for you. Good luck.

This farmers market is just starting out. It is in a parking lot behind the movie theater parking…read moregarage, so the location, other than convenience, has nothing to recommend it. I am a bit disappointed in the "farmer" aspect of this market. There seems to be only 1 main produce vendor and their prices are way too similar to Publix and some items are even more expensive! The produce selection doesn't have any real gems except for the lychees. Those are sold by multiple vendors and at a very good price! Sadly, the produce aspect of the market is underwhelming and defeats the real purpose of a farmer's market. HOWEVER, the product stalls are full of really nice gems. The best one is the fresh ceviche truck. $5 gets you a very generous portion of fish ceviche. It is super fresh and well seasoned. The kettle corn found at another stand is that perfect sweet and salty marriage that only the best of snacks can achieve. The fact that it is made in small batches with a lot of attention to detail is very evident! The arepas are really great! Not your standard fair food - these are authentic arepas that can be stuffed with a variety of options like pork or veggies and not just cheese. There is also a brick oven pizza stand. The pizza is very thin crust and good if eaten right away. Took leftovers home and they did not fare well at all :( Really liked the pooch perks booth. They have homemade treats and toys for your pets and the owners were very nice to my little boy. Market also has the follwoing stands: smoothies, Indian curries, asian fruits, gelato and some clothing and handmade creams. I'll go back for the finished food products, not the produce. Most vendors take credit cards, but have cash on you as well.

They have a wide selection of food by the pound, exotic fruits and vegetables. Years ago when they were Palacio De Los Jugos I used to get their delicious tropical fruit salad. And YAY they still have that. But on this Tuesday we decided to get wild and got a 1lb chicharrón, tamales, and a loaf of Cuban bread. The chicharrón had plenty of meat as well as yummy fried fat. The tamales were delicious. And can we say they had a gorgeous loaf of Cuban bread? Yes!! Service was ok. Ambience is basically take out. Highly recommend for those seeking delicious Cuban food by the pound.

Quick points: 1)…read moreParking is easy to find, but you'll probably have to park further away from the entrance. 2) There are TONS of people (mostly old men) just lingering outside like this is the coolest hangout in town. This wouldn't be a problem, if they didn't make nasty comments as women pass by. 3) I don't really come here for much, usually just fruit and veggies if I'm in the area. They usually have a good variety. 4) Checkouts are usually quick and easy. It can be annoying if you don't speak Spanish, but if you don't need help just keep to yourself. If you do, maybe this isn't the market for you. 5) Prices are decent! They also have good sales on fruits and veggies. 6) It could definitely be more organized. It's also a very old Sedano's. It's been there since I was a tot (and I'm now 21). So, it can definitely use a makeover.

Yes they have Fruits but I come for the Food deals!…read more At first glance you might say this is just another fruit place like that other one called "Palacios" and to some extent you may be right. They both offer a lot of the same things, in particular Fruits and Cooked Foods but Frank's has more value and at least to me better and fresher quality food. The food is not precooked and sitting under a heat lamp for hours. They also offer convenience items like toilet paper and dog food. But what I come here for and continue to come time after time is for their Masa Fritas (Fried Pork Chunks) and their Cuban Tamales. For the ridiculous price of $3.50 they give you a very generous portion of Masa Fritas with in onions and mojo. And the Tamales are always moist and delicious. I've never had a dry one yet. Service is usually quick and you can tell regulars go here a lot. They have a great menu selection and some of the prices are borderline ridiculous at how low they are. But I'm not going to complain. It's the spot where I keep coming too especially when the wife says it's my turn for dinner. Highly recommend trying Frank's out when looking for some good Cuban food portions and great prices.

It's now $7 and you get about 9 mangoes, so still a deal, considering it's 2 bucks a pop for a mango at the supermarket. Scored some frozen red snapper from the keys for just under for bucks a lb AND they cleaned it for me. YAY! The fresh seafood (lobster, shrimp, snapper) comes in during the weekend as well. Call ahead to see what's in. Also, on Saturdays (at the very least, when I went), there are horse rides for the kiddies (it's in Horse Country), there's a guy selling chicken pinchos (kebabs), a taqueria cart, and a lady selling cuban meals (ropa vieja, empanadas, etc). I believe the lady selling the food is the one who works in the fruteria and, if so, her hot plates have to be amazing because her homemade Cuban tamales they sell here are amazzzinng! Strawberries 2 for 4. This isn't local produce, but likely the stuff from Allapattah (it's imports). Ripe and ready avocados $2 and not quite ready are $3. Some things you can expect to find: farm-fresh eggs, mango, pineapple (a bit high for me at about 4 bucks), papaya, bananas, apple bananas, garlic in the fishnet rows (+ $1.50), white potatoes, American sweet potato, boniato/batata, platano, coconut, tomatoes, oranges, bitter oranges, mandarins, peppers, onions, cilantro, and sometimes stuff like anon and mamey pop in. There are also fresh juices available in a wide variety of tropical flavors. My fav is mamey and it's one of the best in town! Juices come in nice, big cups for 2 bucks and you can also buy a half gallon of fresh juice, including fruit cocktail. Fresh coco frio also available. They close around 7 or 7:30 PM and open around 7:30 or 8AM. Staff is very nice and super helpful. Spacious private lot.

Mama's Guava Bars are a unique and true to Miami snack!…read more I first discovered the bars at the Coral Gables Farmer's Market a few years back. Since then, I've seen them pop up at different shops, bakeries and stores all around Miami. What are they? Essentially a bar that consists of guava pulp in the middle, encased by two shortbread cookies. There are four different flavors - Naked, Cinnamon, Hazelnut and Chocolate Almond. I've tried and enjoyed them all, but at the end of the day, really enjoy the plain 'ol Naked flavor! They're great for breakfast, midday snack, dessert, and also a great swap from traditional pastelitos. You can order them online at $14 for a 12 pack ($15 for the chocolate flavor) and also follow them on Facebook to see where they'll be popping up next. I personally look forward to following their journey and will continue to bring these special treats to out-of-towners that want a taste of Miami.
