It had been an awfully long time, so long in fact that I couldn't tell you when I last had an eclair prior to coming here. They're just not the same in the states. Too sugary, too big, too rough around the edges. Well, Christophe Adam and L'Eclair de Genie has redefined the entire experience. Fantastically decadent and sophisticated. They're the perfect size, and well, looks really matter. Seeing hordes of perfectly made eclairs lined up in tidy rows triggered the happy in me. Now I can tell you that it's been eight days, twenty two hours since I had my last eclair...
This location seemed to be the actual bakery that might supplying the other retail stands. Even cooler to see the bakers in action, moving racks in and out.
