I am no panaderia expert but the goodies here were mostly delicious. They do not speak a lick of english so that was a challenge. Both times I went there was luckily some customer who was bi-lingual who would tell me what things were. I like the custard filled horns. There were some cookies with powdered sugar and chocolate chips on white cookies that were really good. I did not like the bear claw looking thing it maybe had tamarind paste inside and was stale. They had donuts too and they were not that great either but maybe that is how they like them in Mexico?
I also had a snowball cookie thing that reminded me of hostess snowballs.
I did like them enough to go back and grab a bunch for my coworkers on the way out. It was super cheap too. My box of goodies was about $4 american. read more
