Good was over priced and portions not much for the price paid. Be careful when ordering because they have tons of specials they try to sell you that aren't all that special. Did order the skirt steak and although it was good it was definitely not a skirt steak. Order medium well and came out still mooing! Won't be back

I came to this place back in 2019 for the first time because my hotel was across the street and now in 2023 and service still very good. Joseph our server was very friendly and with a great attitude. He definitely took care of us but all the staff was very good and food and drinks excellent. Definitely come back and recommend

Disappointed. I had such high hopes for this place especially when looking at the photos of fresh seafood. When we got there on a Saturday afternoon the place was packed. There was a wait for about 15 minutes before we got seated but our waitress was attentive and friendly. We ordered the tuna tostada, a dozen grilled oysters (half spinach and cheese and the other half truffles), large grilled shrimp, shrimp aguachiles, and for dessert we got the restaurant's version of lava cake. My first sinking feeling happened when I bit into the tuna tostada. It didn't taste fresh. Even with the lime and seasoning it was overwhelming not good. I was glad that my bite was small. The lingering taste of unfresh fish had to be downed with my strong Jarrito drink. The truffle oyesters tasted better than the spinach ones so at least those were decent. My husband had better luck with his dishes and the grilled shrimp was huge but needed salt after they were peeled. The aguachiles had a really good Smokey flavor. The dessert was serviced with a vanilla ice cream and was ok according to my husband. I'm not a fan of milk candy so opted not to even try it. Anyhow this was the most expensive restaurant we've had while in Guadalajara and the most disappointing. Would not recommend or return. Forgot to mention that there is valet parking at the front. Bill came out to $114 USD not including tip.

Another spot we found up the street from our hotel. This spot was like a 15 min walk away... super lucky, right!! Nicely decorated spot definitely a upscale but casual vibe. We had a big dinner planned so we just wanted some drinks and a couple dozen oysters. I liked the oysters raw as well as cooked. So this place was perfect I really liked the ones pictured below. If you love seafood and near the midtown/ financial district you should definitely go here.

Wonderful atmosphere, great service and extremely fresh fish. We started with the giant chocolate clam - sublime. Veal Sweetbread was on the menu, an item I very rarely see so of course I had to order it - excellent! For my entree I had the whole grilled fish - wasn't seasoned very well but it was fresh. My husband had the spicy crab soup, very flavorful and his entree, the grilled octopus. All in all a very nice experience. Should we visit the city again would definitely go back.

A must try in Guadalajara! The food, the atmosphere, the drink, and the service are all awesome! It gets busy on a Saturday night with the young rich local crowd. But nothing pretentious. Everyone has a cool vibe. The stand out food items: Scallops Agua Chiles (tatemado) Grill Whole Shrimp Tuna Sashimi Some of the best I have ever tasted, period! My words would not describe the taste and textures of these dishes correctly. All I can say is they are a must try.

Had a great dinner here today. The service was very accommodating and the outdoor dining patio had great ambiance. Came because of the great reviews on the grilled oysters, and they didn't disappoint. Additionally, ordered the lengua tacos which were amazing, best lengua I've ever had. We also ordered the fish and bone marrow which were also good, but we've had better. Stick to their specialties and you will have a great meal!

The grilled oyster was so juicy and fresh, cooked, beyond expectations. Cocktail was also a nice surprise, finished mine in 5 minutes

Very good seafood restaurant service some solid options from crab to tuna, enjoyed all my dishes here and would recommend this place. I would recommend making a reservation here since it gets quite busy. The dessert looked good but I didn't try it since it was lunch time and I wasn't feeling like it.

This restaurant grounds are beautifully landscaped and even has a water feature with a koi pond. When you go inside the elegant dining rooms have a warm and classy vibe. There is even a room that looks like a reception - seating area possibly for events, or for when there is a wait to be seated. The menu is mostly seafood with many Mexican and continental classics, cold dishes like ceviche and sashimi, grilled, fried, baked, you name it... But there are also other proteins on the extensive menu such as beef. I ordered the lonja de pescado which came with salad and rice. It was excellently prepared and delicious. My friends enjoyed what they ordered as well. The service was impeccable and top-notch. For drinks I ordered a refreshing pineapple and spearmint drink (one of their aguas frescas), though they also offer soft drinks, teas, coffees, and a full bar. Just their wine list is multiple pages long. This restaurant is a chain with locations in several major cities of Mexico and is known for being among the best. This location would be appropriate for business lunches, date night, gatherings of friends and family, and large enough to handle groups and events. I will certainly remember Los Arcos next time I am in the mood for great seafood and in Mexico!

The Ceviche Docena was outstanding--fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced, clearly made with top-quality seafood. The biggest surprise of the night, though, was the beef tongue taco. Wow wow wow. Incredibly tender, deeply flavorful, and easily one of the best tacos I've had in a long time. I would fly back just for that taco. We also tried the escamoles taco since we always like to try something new. While it was interesting and I'm glad we experienced it, it's not something I'd order again--but no regrets. OMG! The Iberico!!! Just shut up and get it. Overall, a fantastic meal with great service, beautiful ambiance, and some truly memorable dishes. Don't skip the ceviche--and absolutely do not miss the beef tongue taco.

Fantastic choice! Restaurant was full at lunchtime, although we were seated properly without a reservation. Not outside, but had an outdoor feel. Extensive seafood menu, heavily oriented toward fresh oysters, clams, and other amazing seafood, which was all presented in a fantastic manner and delicious. Anyone that thinks this place was pricey or not a winner must've had a bad experience that would've been out of the ordinary in my opinion. It's not cheap to be sure, but it was not expensive. In my opinion great quality and nice. Nice portions. We had two primary servers who are pictured in this review. Ignacio and Lalo - incredibly friendly and obviously wanted us to enjoy our meal. Made excellent recommendations definitely added to the wonderful late lunch experience. We travel a lot, and this is clearly some of the best seafood/oysters we've had in a long time.
