Once again, Betty saves the day~!!! I had two weddings to go to during the past 2 weeks. The first wedding was 2 hours away so I opt to have my make up done along with the bridal party from someone else (BIG MISTAKE~!). The next wedding I went to, I had to go back to Betty's. I couldn't trust anyone else...during the wedding, I was complimented many times on my make up =) Everyone wished they had it done from Betty too. I literally went in, sat down, and said "put make up on me...however you want", and relaxed. 45 minutes later, my make up looked like it was done by some Professional Celebrity Artist. She brought out my best features =) Thank you again Betty~! read more

I've been here since they opened back in 2007, still LOVE this place so much!!! Each time I bring a friend with me, they end up falling love with the knowledgable estheticians and the great service here. It's not easy finding a spa that combines all the essentials: clean, professional skills, and good knowledge; therefore, I really appreciate having La Desir as my long term HOME OF FACIAL. read more

I would highly recommend Betty to anyone who's looking for a facial to either clear your acne or simply just de-stress! read more

Betty and Joanne are awesome! I've been getting facials for many years and this place is my favorite spot - I always leave looking radiant (instead of a tomato)! I just finished my facial with Betty and when I looked in the mirror, I was glowing! Then she gave me samples to try -totally not a hard sell at all. Their receptionist is also so sweet, I think her name is Grace. Highly recommended! read more

La Desir has been my go-to spa and Betty has been my number one aesthetician for years. Her skills are unparalleled and her product recommendations are always very honest. She really cares about the health and beauty of my sensitive skin. Also her skills as a masseuse is top notch and really therapeutic. Anytime when my skin needs TLC or my body is in need of a deep tissue massage, I know who to call! read more

Betty runs a professional spa that focuses on client service and satisfaction. I received my first facial just recently, and it was an amazingly relaxing experience. Betty is a magician with her hands, and her upbeat, positive attitude toward all things is quite refreshing. Highly recommended! read more

Very good environment and super nice facialist over there. They know my needs and I have always feel relaxing every time on my facial time. Recommend to friends! read more

Great, great place. Make sure you request for Betty because she is the most gentle, talented, and friendly facial therapist that I've ever encountered. Everything here is great and they use high quality products - some of which they send you home with samples with. I used to come about every two weeks but the place is definitely pricey. A regular deep cleansing or glyco-peel can run up to $90 unless you get their pre-paid 12 session package which brings it down to $85. But after tip, a facial can you run you anywhere from $95-105. But do spoil yourself every so often and come visit Betty! read more

I got a advanced cleansing facial from Ann and it was great! For $85 you get a wonderful treatment plus a really nice massage. Just what I needed for my study break. read more

I went to this place trying to make another appointment because i had a dental appointment that I couldn't miss and I didn't know their cancellation policy because my mom is the one that signed up the membership and the lady over there said she was not legally obligated to talk to me even though I deliberately said that I was her daughter and said that she doesn't have to talk to me. And she kicked me out and harassed me. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this place especially with that lady. She was acting like a bitch and very disrespectful!! If I were you guys, go to another facial spa and the prices are very expensive read more

Facial by Joanna and she is amazing. The place is clean and modern. Joanna is very friendly , gentle and thorough. The products she used are high quality and it smells oh so yummy!!! Lavender cleanser & tea tree toner! read more

La Desir is a clean and professional facility. The ambience is very relaxing and makes you feel very comfortable the moment you step in. I requested a deep cleansing facial via phone and was evaluated before the facial to ensure that was the most suitable facial based on my skin type. Shelby performed my facial and she was very gentle. The facial definitely helped clean out my pores and there is a noticeable difference. They also include a head, shoulder and arm massage during the facial! My only concerns were that the staff left the door open during much of my session for some reason which was not ideal. Also, when I scheduled my appointment, the front desk person confirmed my facial would be with Betty but when I arrived, I was informed that Shelby would be doing the facial. Overall, I would recommend for my friends and family to try La Desir! read more

I have been going to La Desire for facials since 2012. Betty and her staff are very dedicated and have "magical" hands that makes the facial experience like a royal treatment for the face and my face always looks many years younger and radiant after the treatment. I have been to many big fancy resort facial treatments that charges twice or more but nothing compares to Betty's magical hands!! This is my place for relaxation, I am grateful I found a great aesthetician that I can trust with an amazing skill that is unparalleled in many ways read more

I decided to try out this place because a friend recommended it to me and I am SO pleased with my facial. I had Jessica, but every worker here was extremely welcoming, accepting, and sweet. I have been looking for a new facial place for a while and I this definitely up to par! The atmosphere was relaxing and just the right temperature. Definitely coming here again! read more

La Desir is a clean, professional, and very friendly establishment. I've been getting facials from Betty for many years now, and highly recommend her services. Many of my friends and family members are regulars here. Betty helped me clear up my acne as a teen and now keeps me a fresh faced adult! If Betty is fully booked, Shelby is also really good and thorough. Both of them have magic hands, and give the best massages! I always leave feeling relaxed and of positive energy. read more

Finally, I found a place to get my routine facials!! I'm so excited I finally found a place I really like and will become a regular for facials. I've been coming for the post acne scar treatment facials and already saw my face brighter in a month! The place is new and super clean, which is very important coming from a huge germaphobe! All the ladies that work here are friendly and skilled! You can't go wrong with any of them as they all have the same professional skill set. Get the package deals! It's worth it!! Thank you La Desir for making my face look amazing! :) read more

Got a facial today with Joanne. Paid $95 for the collagen mask facial, kind of different than their price chart, but oh well. I like how gentle and detailed Joanne was with the pore squeezing part. She gave me a very quick hand massage, a good neck and shoulder massage, briefly trimmed my eyebrows. The spa is small but good atmosphere for the most part. I was probably the last client for the day because half way through my facial, all the aestheticians were outside the room talking and laughing loudly, kind of ruined the spa experience from that point on. I pre-purchased 6 facials with them to get one free, hope i am making the right decision! I will update my review after my second visit a month later. read more

This is my go to place for facials! I've been coming here for years and Betty has helped me through my teenage acne year. She's super gentle with extractions and my skin is always glowing after the facials! Definitely recommend this place!! read more

I'm getting married in two month. So I decided to get facials done on a monthly basis. And the first place that came to my mind is La Desir. I was there at their grand opening about 10 years ago. Betty and Shubi helped me with my teenager acne. Now, they are doing a even better job at preparing me to look the best on my wedding day. They also do whole body massage and I heard Lily is really good at it. Definitely the best and cleanest day spa in the area. read more

Very professional and the place is great. Carry good lines of products for your home care as well. Be sure to ask their recommendation for your skin. read more

I love this place!!! Every time when some friends of mine ask me about the facial places, La Desir is the first one come out of my mouth! The place is clean, warm and cozy, people work there are licensed, professional, and friendly. I've even met my long-time-no-see junior high school classmate there who happened to be their long time customer, too! Highly recommended!!! read more

I've been looking for a place to get a facial and my search is finally over! I had the best facial ever with Betty. She has many years of experience and provides a lot of care and attention toward her clients. By the time I left my skin already looked better and I felt so relaxed and peaceful. Betty has amazing energy and is so talented, I can't say enough about her. Her entire staff is genuinely friendly and attentive. What a great experience! Looking forward to coming back!! Thanks Betty! read more

La Desir Spa is clean, warm with a hint of pleasant aroma in the air. The meditative background music helps you relax while getting a massage. I am usually here to get a deep tissue massage treatment for my injured muscles. Lulu is the best masseuse I've ever met. I considered Lulu is more of a physical body "healer" than a regular masseuse. Lulu's way of massage is unique and customized. She actually has the intention to "heal" your overused body. I highly recommended anyone who has (or has not) a injured muscle problem to make an appointment with Lulu. I can't say enough thank you to this amazing healer. read more

First, I have to state that I am not a competitor in the field. Overall, the service is fine, and the place is clean. However, One thing I really do not like is they are very pushy for the their services especially the lady named Shelby. She gives you a weird look if you schedule a longer time to come back. She just pushes you to use up the sessions of your package ASAP so you have to renew it. Second, the pricing of body massage session is relatively higher than other SPA in the area especially when they don't have any facilities for sauna, etc. They charge $65 for one hour session of body massage. With the same price, I would like to go to Diamond family SPA that offers many kinds of facilities. read more

I've been going to this place regularly for the last 2 years. I was battling acne and didn't know what to do until I found this place. My skin is clear and healthy now that I've been going! Betty is great, she is very knowledgeable, helpful and makes my facials fun and entertaining! The staff there is very friendly. They don't push products onto you which I can appreciate. They will only recommend products if you ask them about certain results you're trying to achieve. read more

La Desir is impeccably clean, and staff are very welcoming. I had a facial with Shelby and felt that the products they used made my skin glow. I really enjoyed the neck, shoulder, arm and scalp massage Shelby did while the products were working their magic on my skin. I would definitely come back! read more

All I have to say is ever since I started getting facials here my skin has improved drastically. Iv been coming here for about 6 months now. I first came here because of the yelp reviews, I was skeptical because the previous facial I recieved made me break out even more so I was literally traumatized. But because my skin was getting so bad due to stress from work I decided to look around and this place had a fair price 65 for the basic facial. Which isnt too bad because the places I called were giving me quotes of 85 -100. I called in told betty mt concerns and when I arrived she set me up with shelby and boy am I glad. Shelby does an amazing job. She really knows how to extract! My pimples are not average they are very deep so if you attempt to extract them and you dont completely remove the roots they come back worst. Shelby is so gentle but at the same time she takes her time which is great. It normally takes her an hour and a half to finish my facial and she never skips a step. Shes also great at massages very Strong hands ! If you have serious acne come see shelby she is great with extraction and she honest about what ypu need for your skin. The whole staff is honest and never up sale and thats whats really important ! Ask for shelby shes just fantastic! read more

I always do my facial with Joanne. Such a nice lady... She cleans my face well and get rids of all the pimples/ acnes I have. She's good at giving recommendations too but not too commercial. Everyone seems nice over there :) always feel happy after having a facial.. read more

Never get your mole remove here, I don't think she's experience. Went in to get some freckles remove on my stomach, now I'm left with a lot of scars. I had this done many time from different places but never turn out like this. Very upset. read more

I am always in search of a good place for facials. I am pretty happy with my experience here. I called today for a last minute facial. They were pretty nice over the phone. I got the vitamin C facial for $110. The owner did my facial (I can't remember her name). They did a pretty good job with extractions. They also shaped my brows for free as part of the facial. After the facial, my complexion is much brighter, even, hydrated. If my complexion can stay like this, I wouldn't need foundation! I am very happy with the results. As for the place itself, its really clean. It's not big, but more than adequate. The best part was that they didn't push their packages on me. I find that at Chinese/Asian places, they always tries to make you buy a package! I am really glad that they didn't pressure me here. They whole experience was very relaxing and the facial was really on par with higher end spas. Highly recommended!! read more

Highly recommend. Clean place and awesome service. If you want to have perfect skin or relaxing afternoon, this is the place to go. Everyone is really professional with their skin care techniques. They give you honest suggestions on how to make your skin beautiful. I cannot say enough good things about them. read more

Most people would not recommend facials for men, but I brought my bf for a couple session and he loved it. One time, he was so relaxed that he snored while having a facial right next to me in the same room. I highly recommend this to anyone. I've been a regular customer since 2006 and live about a couple of hours away from La Desir. I can't stop going back! I would purchase their package deal all the time and always take advantage of it. It also makes a great gift, especially when your sibling is having a bad day, I'll just pick up the phone and call Betty for a special appointment. She is very accommodating! read more

Worst experience ever. I booked my appt for 10am and asked the girl I spoke with that I wanted a deep tissue massage and an acne facial or whatever was similar. She said she had me down for the massage and that when I got to spa they would evaluate my skin to tell me what kind of facial I should get. When I arrived The receptionist said to wait and they would be right with me. I sat waiting for 10-15 minutes before some other girl came out and told me I was early too early for my 10:30 appt. I really thought I had heard 10am for my appointment but since it was only a half hour I let it go. I got into the room and Betty(the owner) started my massage. I'm not quite sure what kind of massage she gave me because that was not a deep tissue massage. It felt more like a Thai Massage where they just push down on all points of your body. It wasn't what I wanted but I hate being the person to complain. The horror started when in the middle of my massage I constantly kept hearing the other employees gossiping in the room next to me. Then one of the employees comes into the room to tell Betty something, this happened 3 different times during my massage. Then about 15 minutes before my massage was over another woman walks in and says she's going to do my facial. But first Betty asks me if I requested a regular facial because she was unsure of what kind of facial I wanted because she was not the one who spoke with me when I booked my appt. So I ended up having a facial and Betty trying to finish my massage at the same time. Throughout the whole time they were gossiping back and forth. I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there, this was not a relaxing experience. These women were all very nice but they really shouldn't conduct business in such a poor manner. I will never come back read more
