They're about half the size as a regular empanada so you know what that means half the calories. Lol they come in pineapple pumpkin and apple. Each flavor was very tasty. The thing I like about empanadas is that they're not too sweet and these were just like that. I especially like the apple filling. It had a little bit of what seems to be cinnamon and it was again not too sweet, but perfectly sweet. Of course, and why am I the thing that makes an empanada great is also the crust. It was perfectly crispy on the outside. He's empanadas are the superstars! Another reason I love this place is because they're training people who have disabilities for employment. I had Chile Riano's with beans and rice. Everything tasted like the Mexican food that I love in Tucson. The portions are pretty large for the Rihanna's and then the sides were not overwhelming just right. I got to chill Reynolds and I ended up taking one home. I definitely recommend you giving this place to try especially because of what they do for the community. The prices were very inexpensive as well. If you're looking for a fun day trip and then you want a good meal this is a great place to stop while supporting the community. All the staff was very nice as well as the students being trained which you couldn't really tell who is who. And I appreciate that too! Please support them!

A couple of things to note: *They do not bake on site. *Their cakes/cheesecakes/cookies/jello/etc. are brought from their Tucson locations daily. So if you want a specific flavor, I suggest you call it in and order it a couple days in advance as they only have a certain variety on display in-store. Now onto all things cake...their cake is amazing! Some of the most moist cake I have ever had (try & say "most moist 5 times fast, LOL!). I can't begin to tell you all the flavors I have had from there. Not one has disappointed. Mazapan (crushed candy made of crushed peanuts & sugar....taste like peanut butter) is my absolute favorite! They also sell specific flavors by the slice every day (varies daily). They're only $2.50 per slice and also BOGOF. Bonus! $2.50 for two large slices of cake? I'm in! So they always have a good dozen different cakes for you to pick up on any given day as well as cookies or brownies and paper plates, utensils & candles. Any special order must be called in. It's great to see such a successful Mexican bakery make it's way over to the states. Nogales doesn't have very many bakeries and the few we do have don't offer cakes like Suspiros. Definitely a must if you want a delicious cake for a birthday, anniversary or just because you want a damn good cake because today ends in "Y."

Estuve en contacto con una señora de allí de nombre Ana ese mismo lunes. Esta mujer y yo hicimos un acuerdo de flores y le proporcioné información de pago. Hoy me dijeron que mañana no me entregaría las flores. Ana estaba lista para aceptar el pago y hacerme creer que mi pedido se cumpliría. Estaba fuera de mí y traté de animarla a imaginarse a sí misma en mis zapatos y fue entonces cuando me colgó. Nadie que esté de luto por la pérdida de un ser querido debería sentirse así. Ya es bastante difícil hacer esa llamada, sólo para que te mientan y te cuelguen. Mi corazón está roto y la humanidad parece haber perdido toda su compasión y empatía. I decided to look for a flower shop and was referred to "Baskets to go and More" by Martinez Funeral home on Monday April 15,2024. I was in contact with a woman there by the name of Ana that very Monday. This woman and I made an agreement of flowers and I provided her with payment information. Today I was told that she would not be delivering my flowers tomorrow. Ana was ready to take payment and lead me to believe my order would be fulfilled. I was beside myself and tried to encouraged her to imagine herself in my shoes that's when she hung up on me. No one who is grieving the loss of a loved one should be made to feel this way. It's hard enough to make that call, only to be lied to and hung up on. My heart is broken and humanity seems to have lost all its compassion and empathy.
