I already had a high school diploma when I applied at the CCC back in 2003 ,and the reason I applied for it was to gain job experience and to get a $2,000 scholarship. Pros- You do something different everyday, You get to meet new people, Outdoor work, You get to camp with fire fighters during fire season The food at the camp sites is great. They offer high school diploma program. You are given a $2,000 if you do volunteer work. There is room for advancement. Cons- Be prepare to work hard, this is not a sitting down job. Be prepare to work in dirty places and get yourself sweaty and dirty. You may deal with drama from co-workers who think they are still in high school. You may also deal with co-workers who are lazy and won't do the job. Overall this job is not bad and is a good start for someone who is having a hard time finding a job. However, if you are the type of person that hates getting dirty, or hates working hard than this job is not for you.

I'm always reluctant to sign up for any kind of networking type companies but after doing my research I feel that the San Diego regional Chamber of Commerce will be the right fit for my company. There are plenty of options out there but I feel this one is the best. Time will tell. So far I'm very happy for the service that I've been provided and all of my questions have been answered without hesitation. In addition, I made some lasting business relationships that turned into friendships that have lasted even after I moved out of San Diego. I would give the organization 5 stars except one thing: if you're not in friendly with the powers that be, and something happens with another member, you will not likely be handled in the most fairest way. Politics can play a role in member treatment as unfortunate as it is to say. I had an experience before I left San Diego that I know with certainty was handled very inappropriately, but I haven't had the time or energy to rectify or make a stink about. And at this point, what is done is done, I don't even live in Southern CA anymore. But if you go in, don't get on anyone's bad side, and go there to do your business this is a great place! You will meet alot of people! Course like anything, you have to sift out those that just want to trade cards and those that want to really learn about your business and develop a lasting professional relationship.........but it is well worth it, I made some great contacts at the Chamber that I'm still in touch with now!

Instead, I found a clean, quiet, well-organized office with no line and someone waiting to help me. She was not only quick and efficient, but she was able to answer any questions I had and make some suggestions on which kind of fishing license I should get. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, and that included getting my license account set up for the very first time in the database, as well as one for my wife. I'd say I'll be back, but in all likelihood, I won't be, simply because I can renew everything online from now on.

First of all what is this man doing in an RV remote from were? Ok is he renting? Proof of renting? Who is keeping him in this RV location. If he died of heart something was there medication needed? Did someone administer?... Why and how was Joe kept from all his friends? Kidnap maybe accurate, it felt like he was taken away. I got none of my regular calls. Talking about politics both on a national level and the alarming politics in the home owners association that he owned and resided in just months before his death. I came in to home owners association meeting for him as support to make sure he had an ally. That was for naught. I protested the entirely unkosher (this was discussed by me to the management company who was in agreement) . I didn't live onsite. It wasn't untill after his death I found out that he had been transported from his property within a couple of weeks, his deed had been signed over to a Roger Beasly with mailing address of the board member. The minutes of the meeting incomplete and inaccurate. He was taken to a park and kept in this vehicle. On his facebook it appears that none of his friends had any contact. He was a fixture at the House of Blues. His friends understood that he had a handicap from a car accident which affected his speach. Underneath the speach problems was a very astute person with ethics and values. He was championing right and wrong at Casiola home owner association. The politics made him ill,, the board he felt was criminal. He told me he tried to contact some friends in the FBI (?). Some agency. Perhaps that can be located through Facebook. He guarded the common area doors making sure they were closed to the rif raf and keeping the integrity of their purpose. If you were caught leaving it open you got a talk from Joe. He loved music and sounded to me like Bob Dylan, He had a humorous music video made in which he was singing. I have posted it on my facebook. It is tragic what was done to him. ....The disposition of his deed from his property in 92101and the entity of the owner of the rv that housed him (the beneficiary of the deed signed over under duress "strawman" Roger Beasly or Jonathan Doyer the man selling the property the day Joe died as a FSBO for more than two times the transfer amount... and friends like me not being able to get a hold of him! He had a cell phone at one time. A coincidence? -the day of Joes death and while authorities came to remove body owner was there for a planned move of the vehicle from the grounds!!!!! Maybe too this blunt force trauma should be looked at more carefully. I think all the information I have provided was not available because he was taken away from his context where nobody knew Joe, where he came from and how to notify friends and loved ones.

There may not be a Magic Garden, but there's Trolley Barn Park, a great little village green. And there may not be an Oak Tree where Henrietta Pussycat lives, but there's a ton of eucalyptus trees and cats. University Heights has it all, tons of street alkies, hipsters, families, couples living in sin, men walking their toy dogs, great restaurants, little boutiques, an art school, a performing arts theater, choice coffee shops, a Buddhist temple and amazing sunsets.
