We came here on the recommendation of the receptionist of the hotel, to our pleasant surprise the dinner crowd was totally full so we had to make a reservation for the next lunch. Arriving the place is very cute, and they have a nice menu, with lots of people eating burgers! So I decided to order one, but I kindly asked if it could be done without the bread as I am gluten intolerant. The waitress curtly replied that it cannot be done as then it is not a burger. ... not a kind response at all to a request that seems very easy to complete. I didn't ask for a change to the ingredients just to serve it without the bread. She just told me to order something else. Anyways on to the food that was allowed to be ordered. My friend had a quiche that she said was good but not amazing (she works in the food industry), thought it was a very large serving. The Verriere rose was very good, but the Beaujolais was not. I ended up ordering the pork dish, which was very dry despite the fact that it was sitting in sauce. My friend ordered the veal topped with caramelized onions, which usually make everything taste better, however it did not in this case. Neither of us finished our dishes. Now, of course it might seem like I wanted to give a bad review after the attitude I received, however I really wanted the food to change my mind! I would've been very happy to have had some amazing dishes that would make me realize that it was better to order something else in the end. Anyways. Disappointed. Very. read more
