There are ceramic murals covering the walls, and ornately carved ceilings and arches. The room is quite large, the biggest venue I've been too. I don't think there would be a terrible seat in the room, although if it was very crowded, and you were in the back, it wouldn't be as enjoyable. It would pay to make reservations early. The manager at our guest house made our reservations, and we got an excellent table, right at the corner of the stage. We just got the 1 drink that is included in the ticket price. I've noticed in some reviews that people are often not happy with the food at flamenco venues. I don't think food should be the main reason to go to a flamenco show. Some people might enjoy this, but I have never had dinner with the show for that reason. There are so many other great places to eat in Madrid, before or after. I think it is much more enjoyable to give your full attention to the performers on stage, and to be caught up in the passion and enthusiasm. I would suggest skipping dinner here, having a drink or two, and enjoying the entertainment. We thought this show and the performers were fantastic. Every place does things a little differently. One place had no male dancers, another had one male dancer, and Villa Rosa had two. I think they were my favorite part of the show! And it didn't hurt that they were both very attractive---one looked a bit like Robert Downey Jr. And they were excellent dancers, as was the female dancer. The singer and guitar player were quite talented as well. The show moved along at a good pace, not really slowing down, letting each performer show their skill, and building to a lovely and satisfying conclusion. Please don't let the fact that you're not permitted to take pictures detract from your enjoyment of the show. There are many places that don't allow this, and it is distracting to the performers. Also, it's a shame that many people are concentrating so hard on their phones and getting a picture that they are not in the moment. And that is what it is all about---just relaxing and surrendering to the beauty and passion that is flamenco. You will experience a night to remember.

We wanted non touristy place but then realized most flamenco tablaos are just going to be tourists anyway. Booking was easy online, and each ticket has a free drink (wine or cava or soda). We added the tapas for 2 for €38, which had a tortilla, iberico, olives, sausage, and cheese. In the end, we were pretty full from a late lunch and had a dinner after, so we didn't really need the food for the one hour show. We got the vip section tickets in the very front, but I think the second row is better. The first row is so close that you have to look up on stage, and the dust from the stage is blown at you when they dance. The live music was good, and the dancers were indeed really talented. The show was just the right length at 60 minutes. I definitely recommend the 6pm show so that you can head to dinner after!

The professionalism, authenticity, passion, music, and especially the powerful sound of the dancers' heels were absolutely mesmerizing. You can purchase tickets ahead of time online and there are a couple different tiers, which impact where you are seated. Opted for the second to best seating as I thought front row would be too jarring on the neck (in retrospect, it wouldn't have been, but out seats were still fantastic). Ticket includes a welcome beverage and you can also pre-order food on your ticket too. Arrived to the show on time and got a welcome glass of white sangria. It was solid, and refreshing. Show began more or less on time. Multiple acts throughout the one hour performance. There was one on guitar, one on hand drums, and two vocalist, accompanied by three performers. Performances were mostly solo acts but there was maybe 20% of duos or trios. Overall really impressive. I don't have any other flamenco show to compare it to so I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience and would recommend it.

It wasn't a huge venue, and it seemed that all of the tables had a pretty good view of the stage. I know the same can't always be said for other (larger) flamenco theatres. We didn't have dinner here, but the tickets do include a drink and we also got some delicious olives to nosh on as we waited for the show. The performers were absolutely incredible. Each of the dancers performed one long, intense, and emotional dance. The guitarist also performed a song by himself without dancers. WOW. Truly WOW. Each of them are so talented, and their dances are not rehearsed. They just feel the music and move with it, which takes a lot of experience to be able to do that so well and on the spot. We had a couple of hiccups leading up to our visit. A couple members of our group had issues when we booked our tickets of the system glitching and it not recording our reservations, but the staff were very helpful and kind via email and they resolved it for us. Each drink we ordered had an absolutely precisely perfect, super-unique presentation, and you could tell they were all carefully designed. I especially loved, while they don't advertise being a distillery, several cocktails even use their own in-house spirits, which if you ask about it and you're ordering a bunch of cocktails, you can just try a tasting flight for free. That was just super cool - you can buy bottles of some of them, too. Bit pricey at ~40 euro for a half-bottle, but they also distill some seriously unusual stuff, including one, used in their now-my-gold-standard bloody mary, distilled from a variety of mixed vegetables, the first time I'd *ever* seen a spirit distilled entirely from vegetables. On the other hand, with the exception of that bloody mary, all the drinks we had, especially for the price, were just... good. I loved the attention to detail on all of them, I could tell a lot of intention and effort went into each one, and again, it's always cool when you're drinking something that was distilled specifically by and for the bar you're at. But I also feel like I remember, mostly, a lot more about the presentation of the drinks and how much work went into some of the ingredients, than what most of them actually tasted like. On the third hand... that bloody mary. Seriously probably the best bloody mary I've had, as you'd expect from a place that hand-crafts literally everything including the base spirit. Assuming they still have it and it wasn't only on a temporary/seasonal menu... I'd go back for more of those, if I were ever back in Madrid. (If it was on a temporary/seasonal menu... too bad for me. I'll be savoring the half-bottle of the spirit I absolutely brought home with me, anyway! Though I still won't be making their bloody mary, which also used their own mix of several fresh-made stocks, for maximum flavor while also being totally clear still. That was super cool, and again, absolutely delicious.) Would I put it in my own personal "best bars anywhere on the planet" list? Probably not - that's a... lot of competition. Is it the best cocktail bar in Madrid? Also in my opinion, no, if I could only recommend one craft cocktail bar in Madrid, it'd be Salmon Guru. But if someone just asked me for recommendations for Madrid cause I'd been there, I could recommend any number of places, and they liked fancy, not-cheap craft cocktails? This would also go on the list, if that hypothetical person had time for two, as we did. Definitely do make a reservation, though. When we got there right when they opened, we were the only ones there... but that definitely didn't remain true.

The food was impressive and took no shortcuts. Each course made a point of showing off the craft behind it, and you could taste the effort in every bite. The courses come out almost immediately after you finish the last. The show itself was exceptional in the truest sense. The flamenco show was great. I'm not a connoisseur, but it was a great experience. I don't regret that at all. I reserved our tickets in advance on their website, and got a confirmation number. However, their system doesn't seem to send an email confirmation. So it's a good thing I put the confirmation number on my calendar! We booked the first (17:30) show with dinner reservations. The website suggests arriving 30 minutes early, so we arrived at 17:00. A few other people also arrived about that time. However, the door was locked. We rang the bell, and they told us that they would not open until 17:30. Weird, but no biggie... we hung out down the street. At 17:30, we went back, and were seated. But it was mostly empty... just us and a couple other people. But, there were plenty of staff, and they got us drinks and we were enjoying ourselves. Then some time passed, and more time passed. Eventually, around 19:00, more people started to arrive, and it was clear that the show would start later. I think what happened is they did not sell enough tickets for the 17:30 show. So instead of cancelling it and offering to let us attend one of the later shows, they just seated us and let us sit for 90 minutes until we joined the group for the later show. This worked out fine for us, though I wish they would have communicated it. It felt like they were leaving us out. The food at the restaurant was very good. We particularly liked the potato soup, which is really good. They also had a nice wine selection to pair it with. However, the restaurant is quite expensive, and I didn't think that it was really justified given that the show was also expensive. If I were to do it again, I think what I would do is sign up for just the show only, and have dinner elsewhere either before or after the show.
