Blown away by this place! It's like an art gallery. Beautiful artisan items everywhere you look. Turned an old house into a curated display of everything they sell. Found some awesome original artwork and pottery to take home. You can easily walk here from the main harbor- about 20 min. The prices were not super cheap- but definitely reasonable for the craftsmanship. Good to know you are supporting the locals. Helpful employees who know some English too. Lots of rooms of colorful handicrafts. It is a combination of a small hotel and shop. They use the space wisely. It is a local gem.

Don't come here for the pottery! We believed going to the "local" side would be considerably cheaper compared to the downtown tourist area. It was not! After buying various pieces here, we stopped by Cobalto Pottery, and the same pieces were 100-200 pesos cheaper. We couldn't believe it, and Cobalto had so much more variety. I'll also add the workers are much nicer at Cobalto as well. When we were at La Coyota, there was no customer service, and they overloaded the paper bag with pottery so they wouldn't have to use two bags. I had to ask for an additional bag so the button wouldn't blow off. read more

Items you might feel are expensive are surprisingly well priced, especially for the craftsmanship! I absolutely love this one stop shop for beautiful locally crafted items! This place is located in a old very well maintained home. The home itself is already an art work, the bathrooms and their tiles are lovely. You can find here ceramics, clothing, painting, house decor, plants decor, set of many different style of dishes, all increíble selected items from local artist . Visiting Cabo for the first time and I wanted to get some cool souvenirs without over paying. I did a yelp search and found this golden gem They had SO many cool things. I didn't know where to start, my eyes were going crazy. The mother and daughter were so kind and helpful. They offered my husband and I water and a basket as we walked around to shop. Everything was reasonably priced. Everywhere else I tried to shop, I was getting ripped off.. Please check this place out. Don't waste your time with other places. I will definitely be back next time I visit Cabo. read more

Very pretty and so neat to walk around. We spent about an hour there. It is a Hacienda converted to a gift shop. I recommend taking the city bus or the purple and yellow bus. We walked from the marina and although it's only about a 15 to 20 minute walk, crossing the smaller streets can be unnerving due to traffic. They take cash and credit card. read more

What a cool store! When all you see are the chotcski shops in and around the resort areas it is such a breath of fresh air to see crafts available for purchase. We were unable to get here by foot so we took a cheap taxi ride to maximize our time. It is a huge hacienda with every room filled with a different theme, so you should be able to get a gift for everyone on your list. You enter with red glass hand blown hearts hanging from a tree and see different rooms with ceramic kitchenware, items for the bedroom, swimsuit coverups and traditional dolls and linen dresses for baby girls. There is also some festive jewelry when you pay. Easily could spend 45 minutes-1 hour here. Definitely worth the drive outside of the resort areas. read more

We found this shop and it has dedicated parking. They buy from artists all over Mexico. There is something for everyone here and anyone who loves Mexican arts and crafts without tee t-shirts (but great Mexican hand sewn good quality dresses...). There is a floor with bedding and and textiles...even Converse painted Mexican shoes that are exceptional. The store is in an old multi-storied home with the shop intertwined within the gardens, bedrooms, kitchen, with pets and fountains! Your guys can browse or sit in the garden and sip cold water. La Coyote is a wonderland of extremely carefully curated housewares and clothing from around Mexico. In the courtyard and rooms of an enormous property, and I could have spent hours going through all the treasures sold there. It's a place to go shopping if the thought of going to a crowded souvenir shop during a pandemic makes you squirm, but you are interested in buying a few special, high quality items to remember your time in Mexico. It was the best part of our visit to Cabo San Lucas. read more

We heard about this store last year and were excited to finally visit. We purchased a number of large glass hearts and this is the best price and selection we have found. They have a small bar offering excellent margaritas. You can spend a couple hours enjoying this lovely hacienda, where the fountains and patios woo you to take a seat or shop to your hearts content. read more

Absolutely charming hacienda turned tienda! The prices here are a fraction of what you'll find in all the tourist shops in town. We walked away with several plates and dishes. The selection is incredible too. It's all organized by type and style. The fun part is just visiting and exploring the place. There's something to be found around every corner. Take your time and bring a camera to capture the charm and beauty. They also accept credit cards! Say hi to the little dog there too. He is very friendly and greets every guest. read more

I hate touristy shops and La Coyota is definitely not touristy. First, it's not in the main tourist area of Cabo San Lucas, but it's a pleasant 20 minute or so walk from there. As others have mentioned, it's a former hacienda that's filled with all manner of home decor. They have a huge selection of tiles, dishes, glassware, vases, woven goods, and even a little selection of tequila if you're in to that sort of thing. It's all nicely displayed and you will have neither staff nor a million tourists following you around while you explore. I figured I'd walk in and maybe spend 20 minutes or so looking around and then go on to my next adventure. I gladly spent more than 90 minutes and wished I had more time to explore. It's definitely a place where you can find unique and high-quality items. If you have the time and are interested in something different from all of the other junk you can find in Cabo San Lucas, La Coyota is worth your time. read more

I've never seen a place like this and I'm sure you have not either. Owner of various restaurants, which if you have been to Cabo you know "The Office" next to the mango deck (which I love too). This was her first house. Huge and I mean huge!!! Courtyard with fountain and a pool. All the rooms full of beautiful items for sale. If you look in the rooms and bathrooms, they are full of boxes with merchandise. There are second floors too. A must see, even if you don't buy anything. Very friendly workers. No one following you around. I was lost because I didn't know where I could wander to. read more
