Lovely pottery and dinnerware! It's the only place I will buy pottery when I am in Cabo.

Exquisite Handmade pottery. Away from the tacky Tourist traps. Features pottery made by different local artists.

Highly recommended! Visiting this place was part of a…read morecruise ship excursion. The trip from the port to the factory was about 30 minutes. It was interesting to see the different parts of town along the way. When we went, the tail end of a hurricane had just passed a week or so earlier. You could still see some standing water on some of the lower streets. You will see some of the less developed streets and some of the local traffic! For the factory, they chairs set up in a "bleacher" style. I'd suggest getting in the front row so you have a closer view of the artisans. Amazing demonstration. They start with a molten hot "blob" of glass, bring it in front of the audience and start the process. Spinning the pole, cutting, stretching, and twisting the glass, putting it back in the oven and continuing. Sometimes adding a different color, sometimes making cuts, etc. It's fun to watch the form appear right in front of your eyes. In the end, they took a blob and turned it into a turtle, wearing a sombrero, drinking out of a bottle! Worth the time. Lots of decent priced items inside, but some more expensive too. The only negative is (if you are on an excursion), you have limited time to browse through the shop. Enjoy!

This place is a little bit outside of downtown and you have to take a cab to get there, but…read moredefinitely worth the unique experience. Everything is hand blown, and you could watch the employees make all the blown glass. I personally got things for a little bit overpriced, but definitely well worth supporting local. Tons of different kinds of glassware from wine glasses regular glasses, napkin holders... The works. I would definitely recommend if you're wanting to do something different. Just stop in here.

I highly recommend researching your needs on the Home Depot website where you can choose this…read moreparticular store - it will tell you what's available right now. The shipping charges are exorbitant, though' and if you need a lot, it's better to just go yourself. The tile selection here would be impressive in the states and there are some truly beautiful options. No wood flooring, but tile replicas which are quite good. Huge selection of lighting from $10 USD for simple LED's to fancy and expensive chandeliers. There are security systems, closet systems (very welcome in the land of concrete block) and even... BATH TUBS! Jetted, too. Various power tools at different grades of quality, doors, nice plumbing fixtures. Good selection of appliances and prices were FAR cheaper on them than I found at Coppel and other stores in Santa Rosalia & Loreto. Wasn't blown away by the kitchen counter selection which is pressboard & Formica, much better to pour & tile concrete counters. Employees in the aisles are polite, but many won't have too much English and some are shy of Americans. They will get someone for you if necessary, but you might download a translator or write your specs en Espanol before coming in. 2 men loaded my truck for me and did it exactly as I wanted without complaint at the persnicketyness (near 4,000 lbs of tile & goods, I wanted it done right) and they got a good tip. I drive 350 miles one way to get here and it is worth every inch. After 3 years in a tiny rural town, I walked around for 4 hours mooning over the selection before returning the next day to buy. I will definitely be back; am so glad to have this amazing resource.

As far as Home Depots go, this place has everything you would expect to find…read more One major difference is that they don't have a lumber yard or any wood available. The "lumber" section is entirely missing. Probably because everything out here is made of cement and metal. They've got just about everything else though. Given that it is in Mexico however, the offerings are pretty amazing in comparison to all the other shops that are available. It is kept super clean and seems to be well maintained. There is a private lot so parking isn't a concern. Since the entire Los Cabos area is undergoing a construction boom, it has plenty of business and has been packed the few times I've been there. If you need a tool or any other home improvement stuff, this place is going to be your best bet!
