This place is definitely rated and frequented as highly as it is merely for the view of the "pueblo…read moremagico" of Taxco. The rooftop terrace offers incredible views of the city, but the food is just okay and clearly intended for an American tourist clientele. Hamburgers and french fries? Really? Also, fajitas don't really exist outside of the US, but you can find them at this place.
The mole rosa was pretty looking (depending on who you ask), but lacked serious flavor. Take my word for it. I've had all different variations of mole all over Mexico, even within the same towns/cities. This was far from exemplary. The guacamole was also okay, which is pretty hard to mess up. The two friends who joined me were equally unimpressed with their respective choices.
I would go back for the views and a light bite, but not a full meal. I'd rather snack around throughout the town.
