Also, fajitas don't really exist outside of the US, but you can find them at this place. The mole rosa was pretty looking (depending on who you ask), but lacked serious flavor. Take my word for it. I've had all different variations of mole all over Mexico, even within the same towns/cities. This was far from exemplary. The guacamole was also okay, which is pretty hard to mess up. The two friends who joined me were equally unimpressed with their respective choices. I would go back for the views and a light bite, but not a full meal. I told them the place they recommended could not have a better view than the main plaza! I was wrong. The view is incredible. Del Angel Inn is on one side of the cathedral, so you can see it up close, from a different angle. It's a large restaurant with multiple terraces. You get a panoramic view of the city and the mountains. We had a group of 30 people including kids. Everyone enjoyed their food including soup, medallions, pasta, and desserts. They offer a full bar. For a large group, our food was served quickly and almost simultaneously. The prices are very reasonable and the staff super friendly.
