Best Chinese food ever…read more We were lucky that we met a nice lady at Tang Freres who brought us over here. She described it a being "the best." And, it is!! Seating is cramped and we were seated by the door, making it very cold as people came in and out. Luckily, there's seating upstairs as well. A lot of people come, many of them locals, which is a testament to how authentic the food here tastes. They also use ALOT of oil so this place isn't for the healthy. Seriously there is a pond of oil at the bottom of every dish when you're done. But the oil is what makes the dishes so so good. Food: +fatty pork with preserved vegetables: pork is perfectly cooked and does not fall apart when taking it out. +chicken: fresh and comes with a lot of dark meat +eggplant in a clay pot: great +tong sum choi: great The white rice is also aromatic. Sorry for the lack of description, it just tastes so damn authentic! The server said a lot of people come to eat their wonton noodle soup but we were sadly too full to try it. We wanted to go back today (our last day in Paris, and we're only here for 3 days) but they were closed :( If I ever come back to Paris, I'll go straight here.

The line was long to get in and was still there when we finished an hour and a half later. They have an amazing system of handling the customers and you never feel rushed when eating. I highly recommend the stir fried frog legs in ginger. You get a lot of meat for the price. The ginger is strong but gives a nice flavor. This has to be one of my top 3 frog dishes of all time. The shrimp beignets were ok. A little greasy but I'm not a huge tempura fan. The Peking duck was very good. It leaned more towards being on the drier side versus fatty and greasy. I enjoyed it. It was tender and moist. One portion was perfect to share with other dishes. The stir fried noodles with pork were good. The pork was tender and had a nice seasoning to it. The noodles were thin and light. We were heavy on the meat so a veggie dish would have been helpful. If you see the line out front, be patient. It's worth the wait. And they do move the tables without rushing people.

They are apparently Bon Gourmand Michelin rated, and highly recommended by my wife's family, who've lived in the area for over 30 years. We had to eat downstairs for dinner the first visit (a lot of stairs in Paris, like everywhere) but the service was fast. The char siu pork is extremely good -- my older son, a notoriously picky eater, loved it. I also had the ginger chicken (which I think is another popular item there) and found that to be delicious too. The soup dumplings are apparently well known and I'm shocked we got a table on a Saturday (the line when we left was out the door). It was essentially the same crew from the night before, so no rest for the weary. Dumplings are super flavorful as well as the broth. I see why it's so popular. Two very good meals in Chinatown during our visit a few weeks ago. Recommend for good Chinese food.

I was staying near the Eiffel Tower, and it was about a 30 minute drive away-I wouldn't really recommend going all the way out to this area to tourists unless you really wanted some homestyle Chinese food. It looks like it's more locals in this area. Once I found it and walked in, it had a very mom and pop feel, which are my fave kinds of restaurants! Since we were here for an event, we got to try many dishes around 10 different items. They were all great and tasted very authentic, and reminded me of dishes I had in China. This is Cantonese food. Dishes that stand out were the braised beef, shrimp and tofu with veggies, peppery chicken, sweet and tangy spareribs, and spicy eggplant-all served pipping hot in pots and super delish on top of steamed rice. Service was pretty good. I really enjoyed my visit here! Thank you Chinese Food Week and Yelp Paris for this awesome experience!

I am glad they were still serving dim sum at dinner. Roast pork buns - my son's favorite- sweet buns with roast pork so good Siu Mai - yummy as well. About same as we had in nyc. Fried dumplings- hubby gave a 9 out of 10 rating. So pretty good. We had congee as a way of comfort food - probably not a popular dish in the restaurant- it was decent. We would've tried the soup if we were not in jet lag. The veggie was great - tender and garlic gave it great flavors. The casserole- didn't look so hot but tasted good - the salted fish is my fav Cantonese Ingredient. I was not expecting cellophane noodles but it did soak up the flavor well. Note of caution - not everyone can take the strong smell of salted fish. Overall a great find - I'd the rating would be 4.5. But seeing the low rating on yelp - I figured to help it up a bit. Authentic place like this one should stay with good fortune

We were in the area and without checking Yelp (I know, I know, WTF?!) we headed here because I had some memories from 10 years ago of having some fun banquet style dinners with friends at their large round tables. Well, the menu has gone up considerably and while we definitely didn't get the more adventurous items on the menu since we were dining en famille with a finicky toddler, the dishes we did get (raviolis grillé, chicken with almonds, sautéed noodles and salt and pepper calamari*) were so bland, so average, so greasy and so expensive for what they were that when the bill arrived I was so full of regrets. *my battery was out on my phone so forgive me for not snapping the dishes.
