We overdid the ordering not knowing the portion sizes, but each and every bite was great. We did the potatoes brava with 2 sauces, the oreja con salsa Las Bravas, Calamares and Boquerones Fritos. As stated above, it was A LOT of food and we barely made a dent. But, it was great!. The orejas had a nice crunch and were my wife's first time eating pigs ears. She liked it. The potatoes were what this place is famous for and they didn't disappoint. So, was the wait worth it? Absolutely. We even had some time to brush up on our Spanish with a young couple that was just ahead of us. All in all a great experience.

My friends and I ordered a bit of everything, literally! My favorites were the Tortilla Española con Cebolla, Croquetas de Jamón, Croquetas de Setas y Hongos, and Steak Tartare. My friend had one of their steak plates which I tried and was also really delicious, it was cooked well and I could tell was quality meat. Compared to other places I ate out in Madrid, this place was really TASTY and AUTHENTIC! The restaurant itself was also very beautiful, clean, great ambiance, and the waiters were friendly. Downstairs is more of the bar area where you can have drinks and appetizers while upstairs you get a more dine-in experience, which is what I did with friends. I had a great time and most importantly, the food was amazing!!!

Per the picture (sorry for the poor quality), our table got: - Beef nigiri where one serving comes with a pair (top left) I would probably say most flavorful dish of the night - tuna tataki with wakame salad (middle left) Nothing super special - ham croquettes (top middle) Pretty good, crispy on the outside gooey in the middle - guacamole salad (middle) Basically chips and guac with a side of mozzarella slices -Spanish pancake with potato filling (top right) Would have been amazing if it was hot and crispy but it came lukewarm -salmon roll with cream cheese filling (middle right) Basically toast with lox and cream cheese in my opinion -meatball tapa (bottom right) Pretty yummy, one of the few warm dishes we had -pomelo vodka Tastes like a lychee pomelo mix. On the sweeter side so masked the vodka taste quite well. -not pictured: chicken pita Very good. Served warm with arugula and this curried sauce which was a lovely combination. Overall, you won't like this place if -you're a salads all day person -you want your meal to be warm and hearty However, otherwise it was good.
