From brick walls to the most comfortable seats, great touches are everywhere within. Fashionable and comfy, just enough designer to feel special, and not so much to kill the relaxed vibe. The food selections are unique but not weird. Well thought out, and compelling. We wanted to order the entire menu! The food arrived and we were in love! Don't miss the bacon or the charcuterie, but that meant we missed out on... well, we'll have to come back. Our service was excellent. Our server was very well versed in the menu, and answered our questions both expertly and patiently. We were very well taken care of. Just enough attention to feel pampered, but not smothered. The Hoosier Proper was a pleasant surprise and we look forward to returning when in the area!

The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the Cuban is perfect. 10/10, No notes. Think of what the best Cuban tastes like, the balance of savory & tang - you can order it in the exact perfection of your imagination here in Rochester. And yet, somehow, the Cuban won't be the most perfect thing on your plate, because these plantain chips with sofrito mayo (yes, you want that) is HEAVENLY. The chips are exactly as thin and crisp as they should be, and expertly salted. When you dip them in the sofrito mayo? Magical
