This wine and spirits shop has *everything*. You'll find bottles of spirits and wine that haven't…read morebeen produced in years. It's packed from floor to rafters with an incredible variety of alcoholic beverages. You will even find some crazy wines labeled as homage to dictators. It's fascinating and disturbing and I'm not sure what to think about it.
The gentleman who runs the shop is friendly and helpful. However, the markup is insane. Likely because this shop is dead smack in the hotel district, you can expect to pay two, three, sometimes five times the standard retail price for a cheap and mediocre bottle of wine. The decent stuff can cost more than dinner for two at an upscale restaurant. The markup on spirits is even worse.
Of course, if you're hammered, you won't care how badly you got ripped off.
