They have a couple different types of hotdogs to choose from and all of them are great. But they also have choices like burritos etc. I was a fan of the chori dogo, and the regular with beans and tomato. I haven't had a chance to check out the dessert but i definitely intend to. The staff is pretty relaxed and make sure that you know the options. The storefront itself can be a little co fusing you first time in, but there is more seating around back and a couple tables to choose from. They are definitely trying to update the decor but it feels small at first but I'm hoping the layout gets better over time.

We toured the store previewed the bakery and shopped around the store. Picked up some dried chili's, ancho paste, some vanilla for baking that I am hoping is like the vanilla I bought in Mexico and back to the bakery we went. I picked a pan Dulce to try this time. Sooooo good! The meat dept has so many choices. Al pastor is so good, seasoned perfectly and was ready for us to take home and cook. Produce looked so good, fresh and colorful! They lost a star because I was hoping that they would have a warm case that would have some grab and go items. Things I haven't rated but would like to try. I love Mexican food but need to broaden my horizon. Highly recommend this market!

They seem to be charging this high just because they can, and people are stupid enough to pay it or don't know any better. The place just flat out sucks. The seating is old and run down for the margins they're likely making on their half assed products. Vietnamese restaurants in that same plaza are charging similar prices for full on meals. The price itself isn't the issue here. There just has to be something to justify it. Do yourself a favor and go to the competition. Plenty of other places in the Salt Lake valley charge similar prices and at least look decent inside and taste better.

I knew this place was gonna be legit. Roast chicken: a bit on the dry side, but we slathered it in beans and rice and salsa in a tortilla (we also ordered sides of rice and beans). Asked for spicy salsa and they delivered. Solid. Came with two sides Carne asada fries: they did not play around. This was a HEFTY portion with a generous portion of carne asada. YUMMMM. Mango chamoyada: I'm a fan of mangonadas and this was even better. More chamoy so spicier and a bit more savory. So refreshing in the humid summer night. Fresas con crema: I'm assuming this was good (it looked good!) because my eldest son INHALED it. Lots of fresh strawberries in it. Paletas: kids got cookies and cream and strawberry paletas. They were very happy. Lots of freezer full of every flavor you could think of. Glad we found this place during our Salt Lake City visit. If we are back in the area, 100% coming back for carne asada fries and a ton of paletas and desserts. Only one worker spoke English but everyone was super friendly and helpful with my Californian broken Spanish.
