Try and order the corse specialities. The duck with figures was fantastic however the portions a little too overwhelming (350gr!) I would prefer smaller portions and maybe some more interesting sidedishes than potatoes. But overall a great experience and I would recommend this restaurant to everybody.

It was a beautiful evening, so we sat outside on the patio which you should also do! For a starter we had rouleau de printemps avec crevettes (fresh spring rolls with shrimp), which I think was my least favorite item. The lettuce inside the rolls was really not acceptable - lots of little yellow and brown pieces, and if you're charging 9€ for these things, they better be good! The sauce was also really watered down and not good. Main dishes were better - we ordered the tofu curry and the vegetarian bun (with nem, or fried spring rolls). The bun was much more fresh, although the vermicelli noodles were a bit over cooked. Tofu curry had the most delicious sauce! The tofu was a little mealy, but otherwise the dish was perfect. The waiter was really accommodating for us and brought little bowls for us to share. Prices were a little high for the quality, but was to be expected in this touristy area. I'd check it out but be wary of the lack of freshness of the dishes!

A friend and I stopped by this rustic charming little restaurant in the afternoon to make a…read morereservation, and the proprietor suggested what time we should come back later. When we did, there was absolutely nobody else left in the restaurant - we had it to ourselves, as well as the owner's undivided attention. He was very attentive and friendly and chatty, and gave this tourist some ides of things to do (and not to do!) in the region. He held forth on rosé ("Nobody drank rosé 15 years ago, we always drank white Cassis") and local towns and attractions with abandon and cool Provençal sass. He even pulled out his iPhone to find a certain word or picture he was looking for to accompany his stories. He calmly monitored the food coming out of the kitchen, serving everything himself, and made recommendations both for food and wine. I had a delicious soupe au pistou, and a traditional daube de boeuf with a brooding red Côtes-de-Provence. I would definitely recommend Chez Feraud to my friends, especially at night, when the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
