The brotola al rockefort or the rabas are delicious. The host used to provoke customers with witty comments in the same fashion old Italian restaurants used to do. Highly recommended. In fact, I've made three previous reservations there over the years and twice they cancelled the reservation and once I had to. Finally we decided to just go and take our chances and if we couldn't get in, we'd just go somewhere else. Pretty room. Gruff, no, actually pretty downright unpleasant greeting from the trio of staff members on the floor, as if we were some sort of imposition. There was no one else in the place, and during the hour or so we were there, only two other parties came in, and both seemed to be treated the same way. Not a gram of hospitality - had I been solo, I'd have probably just left and written the place off. Food as bland and uninteresting as the staff. Overall, mediocre food, no hospitality, and, with prices coming 700 pesos for two with as little as we ordered, turns out they're cash only. Pass on this place.

They have quite an assortment of pastries - many of them made with the puff pastry or croissant dough, pastry cream and quince paste. They also have the standard lard or fat based croissants that they call medialunas and quite a few promotions combining coffee, juice and two or three pastries. It's nearly impossible to find brewed decaf coffee or ground decaf coffee anywhere in Argentina. When you order decaf they basically give you a watered-down version of regular coffee and it is both disgustingly lacking in flavor and still quite high in caffeine which is not good for those of us who can't tolerate it. You're better off bringing some Nescafé powder decaf and ordering hot milk to which you add the decaf powder. We only had coffee and pastries so we can't speak to any of the other food but others were ordering sandwiches and salads and they all looked decent. The staff is very friendly and it's a nice little getaway for a late morning or early lunch snack.

It was just delicious. I had several slices of cheese pizza with tomatoes I don't know what else was on it, but it was so good. MY HUSBAND had one with ham and cheese, the waitress was super nice. The cashier was super nice best of all it is open 25 hours. That's what they say here so if you get hungry for a late night snack this is the place to go. The bread is very light. It is a moist crust so good, so they go heavy on the topping in a good way I only saw three different kind what I had, what MY HUSBAND had which was ham and cheese and tomatoes, and one that look like white onions, fully cooked and cheese. I don't know how that one tasted, but ours was good. They also serve empanadas which you will find everywhere in Argentina I did not try those Very small place , serves beer , no disappointment
