We came to town for a good lunch and a bit of a walk. We chose this restaurant based on good feedback. So we made a reservation.
It was a nice, sunny day and we got a table outside. Our Bulldog was welcome as well. Staff and owner were all wonderful people, very friendly and welcoming.
Chose the salad with magret de canard (duck breast), salmon and Foie Gras for starter. And shrimps in a creamy sauce with fried fleurs de courgettes. Both excellent dishes.
For the mains we've had the Piece de Boucher (butchers piece of meat) with Hollandaise sauce. Also the gigolette de volaille. Meat was tender and the homemade sauce tasty. The Volaille (chicken) was amazing. Perfectly made.
With the meal we had a nice bottle of Rosé. A very nice lunch. All handmade, homemade meals. Made with ingredients of good quality. The town was pretty empty that day. But here at the restaurant were plenty of folks. Really shows that this is a great place to eat at. read more
