Pricey, but great seafood! Ambience: Located somewhat out of…read moredowntown, this place is quiet and well appointed inside. Service: Nice friendly staff. Fairly good English too which is a help because although my French is okay, I don't have a huge vocab when it comes to the many different types of fish served here. The servers were attentive but not imposing. Food: Started with oysters which I thoroughly enjoyed. My only slight complaint is that they lacked a particularly interesting choice of accompaniments. You can choose a la carte or a prix fixe which is what we had. I had the sea bass with "dog" sauce which was beautifully cooked. I can't remember the choice my friend had but his thick cut fillets and sauce were equally delectable. Nice, imaginative deserts which finished off the night just right. Cost: A little more than you'll be paying elsewhere but worth the extra. Loved it.

We enjoyed this restaurant more than any in Paris during the last trip and I am a retired NY chef…read morefor 30+ years . Our hotel recommended it and we walked over at around 6 pm and were told to come back as the staff was having their meal. When we went back it was kind of empty but we sat down and the restaurant did get quite busy. People ate later than us. It was not expensive as previously stated by another reviewer. For eu 21 each we had a great 3 course meal, all freshly home made with a lovely dessert also home made in the restaurant. Our waitress could not have been better even though we could not speak each others language we made do. A very nice belgium woman sitting next to us told us she bought a flat in Toulouse because she loves the city so much and there are so many good restaurants. So we have to go back!

Went here for lunch today - the service was wonderful! The location is great - located in the heart…read moreof the city, the typical Toulouse pink brick building opens its doors on Place Saint Georges and features a terrace you can enjoy. I got the lobster ravioli to start, the cod as my main (which was on mashed potatoes and butter), and the strawberry pavlova (a meringue-based dessert) for dessert, and definitely left feeling full. My dad got the marinated salmon that came not as expected but still good - it is cold vs cooked, and is a plate with a thin layer of salmon covering it and is marinated with lime. He then got the duck for his main and then the chocolate cake with blood orange sorbet which I didn't try but both him and my mother said was delicious. My mother ordered a la carte and got the lobster, which, for other pescatarians, note that it comes with chicken in it, as well as some mushrooms and small noodles. She said it was excellent but was unaware of the chicken. Other than that, we got a bottle of sparkling water, lemon wedges on the side, bread (which is great when dipped in the lobster ravioli sauce as it tastes like lobster bisque), and coffee (which comes with little chocolate desserts too). Solid traditional 100% homemade cuisine--100% fresh produce and local producers are in the spotlight--and, as mentioned, the icing on the cake is the pretty terrace on a pleasant square. Apparently the star of the place is the cassoulet so I'm sure that is good! Fun fact- It is a bourgeois reference for most of the city, the cassoulet temple, a beautiful house on one of the emblematic squares of this chic Saint-Georges district. Chef: Chistophe Fasan

The cassoulet was great and enough food for two people. Overall I would recommend this restaurant. If you want to sit outside, I suggest you make a reservation in advance.
