La Bodeguita of Miami Beach. Cuban Food Sin Inventos!
History
Established in 2026.
La Bodeguita of Miami Beach opened its Cuban kitchen on Lincoln Road in October 2026. Chef Alex "Cepillo" Peláez learned his craft in Cuba, running kitchens at five-star hotels, and later opened La Bodeguita de Montréal. Miami Beach is his next chapter. "Sin inventos" is the promise he cooks by, which means no fuss and no reinventing the classics. Just the dishes Cuban families have shared for generations, made the way they should be.
Meet the Business Owner: Alex P.
I'm Chef Alex Peláez, but most people call me Cepillo. I learned to cook in Cuba and spent years running kitchens at five-star hotels there. Later I opened La Bodeguita de Montréal, where I cooked for guests in Spanish, French and a lot of smiles. Now I'm bringing that same kitchen to Lincoln Road. I believe good Cuban food needs time, good ingredients and respect for the recipes our families gave us. If you see me in the dining room, say hello. ¡Bienvenidos!
