We were very pleased by the range and variety of tapas, spent a long time studying the menu and wanted to try everything! However, the portions are not tiny, so after ordering 5 different tapas we were so stuffed we couldn't even manage it all... The food is served as it is made. We were sharing everything, but I am sure they serve dishes individually, too. We tried patatas bravas (were perfect!), grilled vegetables, some seafood tapas, paella, etc. The empanadas were more like samosas (we expected something like the empanadas in Latin-Amerika), but they were very tasty, too. The dinner for two with 2 glasses of vine each came to under €40, which we found a very good price for the quality and amount of food. The atmosphere of the place is very nice and cosy, with pleasant Spanish music playing not too loud, so we could actually have conversations. The staff is attentive but gives you plenty of privacy, too. All in all, we had an absolutely lovely evening at Las Tapas - the food was great and affordable, we are definitely going back soon! Can only recommend the place!

I'm worse than gluten-free, I'm autoimmune paleo and these people have bent over backwards to serve a highly creative menu that works with these restrictions. Because they do tapas, most of the food is prepared ahead of time so this was a challenge for them. For both the restricted and non-restricted diners, the food was outstanding. Would highly recommend this place. A heartfelt thank you.
Tapas, fantastic location, indoor/outdoor seating, conscientious service. And sigh. Yes. That's the hubby waving.

The food served were definitely the traditional Spanish tapas. We had the pata negra jamon Iberico which were okay but was really hoping to get the acorn-fed black pig ham but they did not have it. Other dishes we tried were the pulpo (octopus), boquerones (sardines) served in olive oil and garlic, ham and codfish croquettes, bread with aioli. Total was about 46 EU. I really enjoyed the sardines and the croquettes but the other dishes were just okay. The place was very lively with scribbles of writings on the wall left by the patrons.

I was told the restaurant had changed their concept from before. The interior of the restaurant is decorated quite nicely. When we came in, we were immediately welcome by a friendly staff member and seated. The menu is set up quite interestingly, every single item on the is labeled "Tasting of" such as Beef, Deer, or etc. Luckily there's also an English version of the menu which I gladly was able to get. A friend and I both went for the Shellfish Tasting. For the appetizers, they given us a lobster savory soup. The soup was quite nice, but I thought it was a bit too over seasoned. The main dish had a tasting of Lobster, Prawns, and Scallops. The presentation of the dish wasn't much at all. The plate is divided into three each for the individual shellfish presented and also a optional wine pairing which I opt-in for. I was really hoping that I didn't need to work on my food while socializing. But turns out that the lobster required the most work. We took some of our digging through the lobster. It is however really nice, it's a flavored quite gently and sided with a risotto. The scallops were nicely cooked sided with a cranberry sauce. The prawns on the plates were good but not memorable. Depending on whatever you order, you would get a tasting of three on a dish. This also includes the desert dishes which I would discuss later. Desert is quite good. I got the carmel tasting while my friend had the chocolate tasting. Presentation is actually very nice on this both of our dishes. The dishes came in very large plates and also divided into three different deserts. My carmel tasting came was very strong and sweet, I favored the ice cream the most on the dish. While my friend's Chocolate tasting dish is probably the best, a delicious fresh brownie nice crunchy on the outside and soft and rich on the inside. The ice cream was also good with a coconut component to it. The whole night is quite fun with clumsiness, with dropped food and even getting stuff into the water (our own fault). But I did enjoy my time regardless, because of that I was bordering my overall thoughts were the food was 3 stars, and the desert needs 4 stars. And just the fun of being there I think deserves another half star so I'm settling SpiceBrush with the 4 stars. ------ + Pro: Friendly service, and interesting concept. - Con: May be a challenge getting attention from staff depending on where you are sitting. ( ^_^) Overall: A very nice restaurant to enjoy some grilled foods. PS. Sorry no pictures for this review!
