If you opt not to pay this special membership fee, he will no longer see you. I have to give a lower rating because my husband, myself and our kids were patients of Dr. Lavani for some time. He had extensive records on us and knew our needs. When switching over to making patients pay extra, above what their insurance pays - hundreds of dollars more, it hurt our family and we had to find a new doctor for all of us... which isn't easy. It's time consuming, and alot of work to go for new patient appointments to find a doctor who can handle everything your family has going on with their health.

I then show up for my appointment, and the front desk receptionist notified me that they "had no record of the appointment." I showed them the appointment reminders and patient portal they sent me via email (one day prior) and their only response was "we're not taking new patients". She could not answer any questions regarding the appointment that they scheduled for me, only that I am not in their system. She the began aggressively talking to me about the appointment not being in their system, and refused to attempt to reconcile their error or try to fix their clear mistake. As I continued questioning why no one notified me if my appointment was cancelled, she began getting loud and kept using the phrase "were not taking new patients" I cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism, disrespect, and poor behavior experienced at Lifestream.
