It was only 13 pesos, but we only had a 500-peso bill, so they generously gave it to us for free. We felt bad, so we gave them $1 USD as a small thank-you, but their generosity truly stood out. Pan Dulce itself - It was perfect--the custard filling wasn't overly sweet and had a slightly gelatinous texture that I really enjoyed. The outside was super crispy, and the sugar coating added just the right amount of sweetness. It was the perfect treat to end our lunch! Between the amazing pastries and the wonderful hospitality, I would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and delicious pan dulce.
