The chef is Sardinian so you can also order delicious Sard pasta and wine. We have two young children so were glad to find two high chairs available and the two ladies who served us were delightful with our little ones. Can't wait until our next meal there!

We specialise in fresh pasta, handmade in small quantities in our kitchen: we make tagliatelle, pappardelle & tagliolini every day, ravioli, gnocchi & tortelloni as part of our weekly specials. Using seasonal and carefully selected ingredients sourced from small, artisan producers our chef Carlo created a menu offering mouth-watering traditional Italian dishes like tagliolini cacio e pepe, melanzane alla parmigiana and tiramisu, typical Sardinian specialities like fregola with prawns & bottarga and seadas, as well as some original creations like our delicious pannacotta with mirto liqueur. When in season, a truffle special menu is also available, featuring beef carpaccio, risotto, tagliolini and ribeye, all seasoned with generous shavings of truffle. Get your taste buds ready for your foodie experience at Mora with an aperitif - spritz and negroni are on the menu! Choose one from our natural, organic, biodynamic wines from Italy or local craft beers to match with your food, and Buon Appetito! You can end your meal in style with a glass of dessert wine, classic Italian liqueur like mirto, limoncello or amaro, or artisan spirit crafted in East London. Pircio - Interior. The restaurant is actually vast, and is intimately lit creating a fabulous atmosphere. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic space. It's a hall type building that has been very carefully transformed into a large restaurant which successfully maintains an intimate feel using delicate lighting, cleverly created seating areas and has a large bar and pizza oven framing each end of the building. The menu's refreshing, as it's effectively a double-sided sheet with Italian delights on one side and mediterranean on the other, so if you have friends who want to eat Italian but you fancy something different or vice versa, the choice will please you in a big way. We're both vegetarian, and the selection of vegetarian food was excellent, though it's worth pointing out that like all awkward customers I set my heart on one of the meaty offerings and asked if they would be able to do me it without the meat, which the restaurant happily obliged. Top notch. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, we didn't feel rushed at all and once we asked for the bill it arrived promptly with the card machine following suit very soon after. Again top notch. The only thing we could fault was the starter, which arrived a little cooler than you would normally expect for deep fried brie, but was still delicious. A nice atmosphere, a great wine menu and effectively TWO menu's makes this an easy pick if you're looking for great food away from the usual chains. Highly recommended.
