    My Star of the show

I haven't been to the LA Auto SHOW in about 15+ years and I was BLOWN away at how much things have changed!!! I wanted to see the NEW Super cars... Lamborghinis, Ferrari and Aston Martin, F1 didn't appear much or had their own show room. There were instead Lambos for RENT and a bunch of FIXED UP cars like the FAST & FURIOUS movies... LEXUS, BMW & MERCEDES were NO WHERE on SITE?! Very disappointed at the car show this year and I am grateful I lived to see the GOOD OLD LA Auto show days during the early 2000s! Those were the best times. Saleen and a bunch of exotic beauties were present... One cool thing there is that you can actually get in line and do TEST DRIVES which makes it feel more interactive like a theme park... STAR OF THE SHOW: The best looking car in my opinion was the MASERATI MCPURA... PRO TIP: Wear comfortable shoes and stretch because it's a lot of walking for the 80s babies and higher ;)

Amazing paint job on a vintage VW Beetle.

We had a great time at the 2025 LA Auto Show! The husband enjoyed checking out the new designs and features of each car brand. I really liked how they engaged customers in a variety of ways -- super cool ride-a-long/test drive courses, games with prizes, lounge areas, handcrafted drinks, super cute pets, merch and freebies. There were virtual driving tournaments and a robot dog interacting with people! I personally preferred the vintage car section. The In N Out area was fun. :) It was a very well organized event. We bought our tickets on Costco.com. We prepaid for parking a short walk away using SpotHero.

LA Auto Show is one of the big ones for all car lovers and even future car owners. It gives you an idea and a hands on experience if you're either looking to purchase a new car or just an enthusiast. Here at the car show you have all your major manufacturer and brands and other vendors for custom or after market products. There are certain years you'll see that some of the brands may not attend and who knows why but it's just observation after going all these years. It's a good time here and you can easily spend 3-4 hours walking around, test driving and also doing some interactive activities at certain brands. Make sure you get a map when entering as it will show you where every thing is. Parking is usually 3x the price of the ticket or so but there are other lots around as well.

My first time here and was surprised when I didn't find certain car brands there. It was cool seeing the new electric vehicles from a handful of brands that I hadn't seen up close. The Hyundai exhibit was giving out DELICIOUS cream puffs lol. The Jeep off roading experience was so cool to see. The Scout car was outside but my favorite by far

Definitely worth it if you are a car/vehicle enthusiast! Super kid-friendly and lots of chance to pick up some sponsored merch/free merch. Going on the weekday was good cause all the lines were short. I didn't do any test drives but all the tracks were much bigger than the OC auto show.

LA Auto Show is a yearly International car event held at the LACC. It features all modern and concept vehicles across brands. As a car enthusiast, I try to make it to every auto show. This year they have less car models (no Ford, Lexus, BMW, Audi, Alfa Romero) albeit still a nice event. The event offers free tea, coffee, hot chocolate drinks and tote bags. Car Guest Relations host were knowledgeable and friendly. General admission tkt costs $24/pp. Parking in the garage is more expensive than the event ticket. However, public transportation is available. Overall, it's a good auto show but not all the major brands were present.

My 3rd year going to the LA Auto Show, saw less cars these year, but still was a great event. Amazed to see the future cars that will drive by itself. My son's and husband goes every year and enjoy seeing the cars and talks about every detail lol and I feel so lost lol Love to see many activities for the kids and even adults. We got into the electric Volkswagen and was cool to see inside and hear how fast can go. Recommended it if you are into cars.

Trying to continue my annual trek to this event... I always look forward to "what's new". This year I experienced the "ride-a-longs" at the Jeep, Ford, & Hyundai sections... definitely worth the experience. My favorite Kentia Hall never fails as I love customized vehicles. And there is always the "I wish I had that" section of vehicles. Looking forward to next year. Hopefully, it'll be even bigger!

Really cool experience and they had a larger selection of cars than they did last year with a lot more luxury vehicles. I wish you could test drive and get into more of them so that kind of sucked because there were limitations. However still nice experience for the car aficionados. The focus was very much EV vehicles and the future of driving which was interesting, but not my preference.

Always check the website for a full list of exhibitors. Many of the European brands have stopped coming lately. So if you are hoping to see the latest Audi, BMW or Mercedes-Benz, you might be disappointed. Porsche does have a presence here but it is supported by a California Porsche dealership. Most of the domestic brands have very large displays and some have ride-along features. The Jeep booth is always a hit with it's obstacle course. If you arrive early, you just might avoid the long lines. Some of the exhibitors also have test drive stations outside the convention center. Again, check the website carefully to see who will, and will not, be there. It's a great way to get some time in a vehicle that you may be considering without having to go to a dealership and deal with their sales rep. If you like cars, you'll most likely really enjoy yourself. Self parking is all around but pricy as is the food. You might want to take advantage of already paying for parking and explore the surround area. LA Live is right there as is Staples/Crypto.Com Arena. You might be able to find a great restaurant in the area. Wear very comfortable walking shoes and...enjoy!!!

Parking was $30, and all charging stations were occupied. Tickets could be purchased online. There were plenty of cars to explore and view, and large companies handed out free goodies and items. Food trucks were available, along with a small cafeteria-style dining area for food purchases. The event was very crowded, but restrooms were accessible. However, not all major companies were present; I didn't see Mercedes, BMW, or Lexus. I did get the chance to do a ride-along with Nissan.

It's a tradition to go the car show every year with my family for several years. However, it's not the same before COVID and post-COVID. They do not have a lot of car makes like they use to and it seems very limited to the car selections they have. It use to be way better and more feasible for the tickets and concessions. They best part of the show to me was the old school cars, and low rider bikes section. I think that was very classy with some nice trendy eccentric cars. This is the reason for the the 3 stars. Also, the parking is crazy expensive to get in charging $30! Which is crazy. Overall, I know that it's more innovative options and experiences to do, it's not all that great anymore! They need to bring back the old ways of the auto show and provide more options for different cars. I think this will be my last year coming! -Marshay D.

Incredible experience! If you like cars at all, this is a must. I happened to be in town on the last day of the show and decided to get tickets, I'm so glad I did! I will definitely be back in 2025. The west coast customs and garage aftermarket experiences were my favorites. Really fun and family friendly!

But Saturday was cool, Clover's grass was green, and the atmosphere was indeed festive. There were several options for free or metered parking in supervised lots within walking distance, making at least our vehicular arrival and departure quick and painless. After leaving the car, we made a beeline for the park's restrooms, where, as it typically happens whenever we step out to a fairground, we spent a considerable chunk of our visit waiting our turns in slow-moving lines. Plenty of music filled our ears while we waited, especially the notes coming from center stage, where a featured group, The Lions, sounded particularly captivating. We quietly joined standing watchers later on, just in time to see The Lions wrap up their soulful and energetic gig. Festival treats were also close at hand, so we couldn't miss tasting Linde's old-fashioned sugar roasted almonds. We followed our noses to her popular table where I impulsively grabbed us a couple of warm paper cones in a sweet twofer deal. Linde jokingly asked if we were unable to share, to which I honestly replied, "yes." It was a fair-tastic time. The usual apparel gifts and arts-and-craftsy things were available for passers-by to browse and purchase, and interactive activities engaged families, kids, and kids-at-heart. It seemed apparent to us after one walk-through that the city government was out to connect with and educate visitors in exchange for cheap swag and fun, with a number of public service kiosks that let you spin wheels and answer questions for prizes. We didn't get around to checking everything out (see Tess M.'s yelp here: http://bit.ly/11hmlqO for some neat things we missed), but all in all, the Festival was pleasant and low-key, which is pretty much Santa Monica in a nutshell.

Yeah, it adds up and it doesn't seem worth it, but if there's 8 of you in the car and split the tab, it isn't too bad. We came through on a Friday night. We opted for the VIP package and bypassed pretty much everyone (that line looked like a thousand miles long, so that alone threw all regrets, doubts and second thoughts out the window!) Bypassing the long line was one thing, but then my passengers' bladders decided to go in sync and in unison all needed a bathroom break BEFORE the drive. The VIP package came in handy once again - they have a separate set of porta-potties for VIP peeps, too! Needless to say, there were no lines there either. So, yeah, off to a good start. I didn't really know what to expect, so I decided not to expect too much. There were a lot of mixed reviews on Yelp (complaints were mostly about the cost) so I kept an open mind. THE VERDICT: Totally WORTH IT. This whole production was well put-together. It was beautifully created with a lot of imagination. The engineering and construction alone were astonishing, how long did it take them to put it all up! And I really liked that they coordinated all the lights' movements with the music coming off the assigned radio station (107.9.) And those souls braving the cold as they entertained us with their dance moves... KUDOS! (I didn't get to see what's in the VIP box but going by how each of my passengers went through it like the Tasmanian Devil, I'm gonna assume whatever was in there was fun!) If this is your thing, here are a few tips: 1) Entry is at Holly and Huntington NOT at the main entrance. If you do end up at the main entrance, they'll reroute you. No worries. 2) You can come through as early as 30 minutes before your scheduled time, but try to be there within that window just for the sake of being considerate. The whole thing is about 45 minutes to an hour, all depending on how slow or fast you go. 3) CLEAN YOUR WINDSHIELDS! I meant to, but I completely forgot. But even with the semi-dirty glass, it was still pretty good. 4) Sunroofs are great! I didn't have one (wouldn't have mattered if I did since I was the one behind the wheel) but I was sorta jealous of the peeps who made full use of it. I imagine that's the best way to experience it. 5) You are allowed to open your windows. Just watch out for fog machines... 6) Take your time and let it all sink in. If you can afford it, I highly recommend it, something cool to do social distancing style. It's an event for all ages and a great excuse to get out of the house more especially during these challenging times.
