Absolutely lovely experience to check out local vendors! There are crafts, food, drinks, small fashion brands, home decor, makeup. Truly any array of unique small business owner can be found here. Definitely check it out. I've gone 3 times and loved it every single time.

Great location right by Smorgasburg. You can shop and then grab a bite to eat. I like supporting women-owned businesses and artists. There were plenty of unique artisanal goods to peruse and purchase. I loved the necklace I purchased from one of the vendors, Amy Jennings Designs. So fun. Plus, it was on a Sunday and I was able to self indulge at the Smorgasborg which was mere steps away. Parking in garage. Entrance to the garage from the street wasn't clearly marked (no signage). You can also purchase tickets online beforehand but it appeared people were able to buy tickets there.

Such a great mix of vendors and little food and drink options. Super friendly, reasonable prices and 10/10 vibes. So fun!

This was a great way to spend an afternoon with friends! Love all of the unique creators and also the food vendors. (Amazing that it's also indoors) Everyone is so friendly, and there is some thing for everyone. Parking was also super simple which made the trip from the valley much easier.

This market rocks. Well curated, comfy, family-friendly, central--I could go on and on. Yes, you have to buy a ticket to come in and shop ($13ish ahead of time and $15 at the door), but this level of event clearly takes some doing to execute and I think the price is super fair. Plus, where else can you find this mix of awesome vendors IRL, many of which don't have storefronts?! Well done, Unique LA. I've only been for the holiday market and was mostly just browsing, but I feel like they had a little something for everyone if you're shopping for gifts. There was a good mix of jewelry, clothes, food stuff, art, and housewares. Speaking of food stuff, they had a little cafe with some yummy lunch options (buns and bowls, I believe) and some complimentary snacks throughout. I was there on day two (of two) and it was busy, but not packed. Really appreciated the "what to expect" email from Unique LA with parking info, etc. I'll be back for their next market for sure!

FAB! AMAZEBALLS! Brings LA based (and many women owned) food, skincare, jewelry, fashion and accessories together! Trade show meets son-site buying! Open today and tomorrow. If u HAVEN'T gotten tickets; hit eventbrite!

    Amazing times!

Great fun times!!!! It's always a good time with great vendors. Definitely coming back in the winter:)

But Saturday was cool, Clover's grass was green, and the atmosphere was indeed festive. There were several options for free or metered parking in supervised lots within walking distance, making at least our vehicular arrival and departure quick and painless. After leaving the car, we made a beeline for the park's restrooms, where, as it typically happens whenever we step out to a fairground, we spent a considerable chunk of our visit waiting our turns in slow-moving lines. Plenty of music filled our ears while we waited, especially the notes coming from center stage, where a featured group, The Lions, sounded particularly captivating. We quietly joined standing watchers later on, just in time to see The Lions wrap up their soulful and energetic gig. Festival treats were also close at hand, so we couldn't miss tasting Linde's old-fashioned sugar roasted almonds. We followed our noses to her popular table where I impulsively grabbed us a couple of warm paper cones in a sweet twofer deal. Linde jokingly asked if we were unable to share, to which I honestly replied, "yes." It was a fair-tastic time. The usual apparel gifts and arts-and-craftsy things were available for passers-by to browse and purchase, and interactive activities engaged families, kids, and kids-at-heart. It seemed apparent to us after one walk-through that the city government was out to connect with and educate visitors in exchange for cheap swag and fun, with a number of public service kiosks that let you spin wheels and answer questions for prizes. We didn't get around to checking everything out (see Tess M.'s yelp here: http://bit.ly/11hmlqO for some neat things we missed), but all in all, the Festival was pleasant and low-key, which is pretty much Santa Monica in a nutshell.

With the pandemic still very much so at large, we are very limited to these types of experiences, but Insomniac was able to pull this off, while still keeping everyone safe. The only downfall (and quite big IMO), was the wait time to enter the first weekend. We waited over an hour to enter GA, and eventually was asked if we wanted to upgrade to VIP for $50. I wish we were asked this in the beginning, but I wonder if they've been able to fix this problem since then. Also, if anyone has attended this and knows the link to the official playlist on Spotify, please send it my way! I'd love to bookmark this entire playlist to listen in my car.

An additional…read more$59.95 to upgrade to VIP (up to 8 people per car) and another $20.00 for the service fee. Yeah, it adds up and it doesn't seem worth it, but if there's 8 of you in the car and split the tab, it isn't too bad. We came through on a Friday night. We opted for the VIP package and bypassed pretty much everyone (that line looked like a thousand miles long, so that alone threw all regrets, doubts and second thoughts out the window!) Bypassing the long line was one thing, but then my passengers' bladders decided to go in sync and in unison all needed a bathroom break BEFORE the drive. The VIP package came in handy once again - they have a separate set of porta-potties for VIP peeps, too! Needless to say, there were no lines there either. So, yeah, off to a good start. I didn't really know what to expect, so I decided not to expect too much. There were a lot of mixed reviews on Yelp (complaints were mostly about the cost) so I kept an open mind. THE VERDICT: Totally WORTH IT. This whole production was well put-together. It was beautifully created with a lot of imagination. The engineering and construction alone were astonishing, how long did it take them to put it all up! And I really liked that they coordinated all the lights' movements with the music coming off the assigned radio station (107.9.) And those souls braving the cold as they entertained us with their dance moves... KUDOS! (I didn't get to see what's in the VIP box but going by how each of my passengers went through it like the Tasmanian Devil, I'm gonna assume whatever was in there was fun!) If this is your thing, here are a few tips: 1) Entry is at Holly and Huntington NOT at the main entrance. If you do end up at the main entrance, they'll reroute you. No worries. 2) You can come through as early as 30 minutes before your scheduled time, but try to be there within that window just for the sake of being considerate. The whole thing is about 45 minutes to an hour, all depending on how slow or fast you go. 3) CLEAN YOUR WINDSHIELDS! I meant to, but I completely forgot. But even with the semi-dirty glass, it was still pretty good. 4) Sunroofs are great! I didn't have one (wouldn't have mattered if I did since I was the one behind the wheel) but I was sorta jealous of the peeps who made full use of it. I imagine that's the best way to experience it. 5) You are allowed to open your windows. Just watch out for fog machines... 6) Take your time and let it all sink in. If you can afford it, I highly recommend it, something cool to do social distancing style. It's an event for all ages and a great excuse to get out of the house more especially during these challenging times.

Fortunately, there were still interesting things to see, from jewelry makers using materials from a disassembled nuclear warhead, to bracelets with a cause that's supposed to make you happy when you wear it. My favorite vendors there were Noral Clothing which makes gorgeous custom, and Lulu Designs, which have awesome vintage designs on high quality materials. bracelets Music and food is also featured here, with a special area for the 21 & older crowd looking to dehydrate the old fashioned way. With alcohol. And once that's done, there are vendors giving away "healthy" soda samples. The food vendors range from Umami Burger, to traditional Thai food. And if worse comes to worst, and you don't find anything on the street, there are pretty trendy restaurants on the sidewalk. My personal favorite, is a Thai vegan place called 'Green Leaves Vegan,' selling healthy food at very reasonable prices. Even if it's not the most exciting of places to go to, it's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. You might find a small treasure worth the effort.
