    La Abispa truck
    Jenny N.

On a hot day in search for something cold and we came across this truck! This ice cream truck is not like any other ice cream truck that you've ever experienced. Ice cream (fruit or milk flavored): homemade --mango --coconut --strawberry --watermelon --lime --nuts --tamarind --guava --pineapple --mixed fruits --mango with chili They also have raspados and diablitos, grenuda, iced blended mocha, sundae, banana splits and many more. Price: for ice cream small-$1.50, medium- $2, large-$2.50, x large-$3, xx large-$3.50 The truck is parked right next to the drive in movie on Vineland and it's close to the park. Service: was just ok. Nothing spectacular. I would totally come here to get their ice cream when I'm in the area. I would try other things on the menu like their chamango, agua frescas and diablitos. Until next time La Abispa!!

    Summer hours.

Everything on the menu is delicious. The tejuino is blended all together, not the way I prefer mine, but still delicious. That's probably the only item I skip out on. They have summer hours, which aren't updated on their website. So I added the picture for you.

Pure genius...converted food truck to a full service mobile biónicos stand. I love it... they have a large selection of raspados, flavored waters, churros and other delicious items. Prices are pretty good. They are polite and definitely have great customer service. I bought the lemon flavored ice cream with Tajín and chamoy.... which was flavorful. I will definitely return, I hope they are able to move around to give others the opportunity to try their deliciously treats.

This is DELICIOUS. Sandia Diablito! It really tastes like a Sandia Chili Lollipop in ice cream form. Yum!!

This is probably by FAVORITE place to get any type of antojito I'm craving. Lol I've tried many things from their menu already, but their guava and tamarindo nieves aren't the most flavorful (in my opinion). I love to order the Sandia Diablito, Papas Locas, Mango Loca, and Chips with Cheese or Nachos. Above all else, the Sandia Diablito is my favorite. I like the Sandia nieve alone as well. It's soooooo good! You should definitely give this place a try!

Where do kids and parents go to when they're in need of some tasty treats? This truck!Located across the street from the Vineland Swap Meet and in front of the Bassett Recreation Center you get the best of both worlds. For the kiddos I usually see them get the raspados or fresas con crema witch is fruit and cream.Hey,don't knock it until you try it.For the grownups like me,I or they usually get diablitos which is fruit with chilly powder or papas locas which is crazy fries. They have other drinks but to many to name.Fast and friendly with decent prices. As soon as you place your order you'll be on your way within 10 minutes.

Amazing for a hot California day. I saw that my friend had checked in here and decided to make a trip down since I was the area. Don't regret it at all. I read yelp reviews before and for a non-hispanic person, I was very unaware of what all the different types of drinks consists of. I ordered the Diablito which consisted of (your choice) of sorbet and Chile powder. It also came with chile candy on a straw so that was awesome. I've had chamango before which I was originally thinking of getting, but it looked watery in the pictures so I opted for something I could eat instead of drink. The lime and chile powder go really well together. I'm so glad I made a trip to get this Large cup of happiness. =p. Had 5 people standing in line in front of me but only took 10 minutes to order and another 2 to receive my drink.

This place is awesome! I come here all the time for my dads soccer games and this lonchera is always here. The aguas are really good and so are the raspados! My favorite is the agua de mango. They are really good with the timings of the food and drinks too and they dont take long. If your passing by this park, i highly recommend a stop for an agua fresca!

I recently went to get my ice cream and my Diablito and I had a wonderful visit very polite very professional and very clean I hundredpercent recommend you to go to this place

Always great for hot days like these! They have a variety of items with reasonable prices! my personal faves are the tostilocos, Hot Cheetos with cheese, ice cream, and diablitos! Can't go wrong there.

Oh man what can I say but Mexicans know how to create a perfect treat to have during this hot weather. You definitely need to give this truck a try because they have many delicious and yummy treats that will have you coming back for more. From ice cream, to fruit bowls to anything fattening yet delicious you must come by. The one bad thing a have to say and it's not bad at all is that you will wish you were nearby more often. The employees are super nice and friendly and treat you as if you were family. You you want to add other stuff or create something not on the menu they will not have a problem as long as they have the ingredients. A definite must if you're in this part of town.

Two diablitos de lemon , and vanilla raspado

Really crazy section of rapsados, Nieves,& diablitos. I had never had a crazy drink like the " diablito" and it's SO GOOD . And it's a good price ! 3 Large drinks for $13 . What a good price. This is definitely a good spot to hit during summer . MY GOD I KNOW IM DEF NOT GOING A DAY WITH OUT A DRINK FROM THIS LONCHERA. The cashier is very friendly and talkative

Deliciousness, nieve de coco, limon, and fresa, mocha drink & diablito de mango con chile

They let me know all the different desserts and options. They also explained pricing and availability to me. They showed me all the different toppings that they have for not just ice cream and sundaes, but crêpes as well. Considering I walked in here, thinking that this was strictly an ice cream place, they have a very large menu. One thing that I remember very fondly about my visit here was not that there were a lot of people here, but the people that were dining in, they were mostly families with children. That may not seem like an important thing, but to me, seeing that is precious More often than not, you see children, their parents, and even their parents parents. So sometimes you get a small group of people, but really you have three generations. Quality time like that is absolutely precious and to see them so engaged in conversation with one another and laughing the entire time and sharing dessert, that was so awesome. Sharing ice cream with my dad at an ice cream parlor near our home is a very fond memory for me. So I guess that's why I paid attention to this while we died at scoop Street. When I took a moment to take a step back and look at our little family, we also were there in our lil three generational group: me, my kiddo & my Mom. The prices here are more than reasonable. The ice cream that is used for their desserts is from thrifty. The waffle cones are made in house and smell amazing. There really wasn't anything more than I could've asked of this visit to the ice cream shop. This was so special. Servers: Art & Austin

It's considered a "sister store" to Bun Street, which is located right next door. The interior features a clean, old-school shop design with cozy seating and motivational quotes. Friendly young staff but service was slow and inattentive. They primarily serve Thrifty Ice Cream, a classic Southern California brand. The shop's main draw is the funnel cake. The Churro-Chata, topped with horchata ice cream and mini churros is our favorite. Portions are big and shareable. Also, they bake cookies and brownies in-house daily using family recipes to use in their custom ice cream sandwiches and sundaes. Plenty of parking since it's located in a strip mall.

I remember for the longest time, it was Rick and Morty forever, but that might have just been a fever dream since they've definitely had collaborations other than that (the Avatar live action on Netflix too and I think currently BT21 for the Army out there). Despite being in a super busy plaza, this location itself isn't super busy and the workers were friendly and I was able to get my order pretty quickly. Ambiance is very casual and trendy. They have ice cream bars, merch for sale, and ice cream by the pint as well. I've gotten the cookie monster, dark matter brownie batter (I feel like this is a remnant of Rick and Morty but I'm not too sure, don't quote me on that), milk and cereal, and the Saigon coffee. There are times when the ice cream is really dense and the flavor is strong, texture is creamy and it's a solid ice cream (usually for the coffee and the brownie batter), but there are other times where the ice cream is too icy (like water iced over on it and it's like an ice cream that was melted and reformed again). This is a mixed bag I get with other flavors. For the stress it takes to even get into this plaza, it's not worth it considering there are other dessert options nearby.
