After a long day on a sightseeing tour, we decided pizza sounded good.
We liked on Yelp and saw several good reviews about L'Osteria.
We were greeted promptly and taken to our table. The restaurant wasn't completely packed, but very busy as the staff was hustling around.
We were greeted by a young female server who took our drink order and we also ordered an appetizer and a salad to split.
The appetizers came out within a few minutes and the portions were larger than expected.
The Ceasar salad was very tasty. Copious amount of fresh parmesan and seasoned well (just a couple turns from the pepper mill).
The Bruschetta same scenario. Large portions (in a his case, our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs).
We ordered a pizza, knowing we would probably take some leftovers back to the Hotel.
The pizza we ordered was half Rustica, half Hawaiian!
The pictures tell the story. Cooked well, optioned nicely and was exactly a nice change from several meals in a row of local German fare.
All in all, I would recommend eating here. Great people watching and all of this food for €32.00 was worth it! read more
