We were a bit put off by the complete lack of patrons at 7:45 pm but decided to chance it and were well rewarded. Two of us had beautifully presented salads, the third a well-prepared salmon and rice followed by en exquisite dessert sample. The proprietor was friendly and anxious for our approval. More patrons had entered by the time we left and they, and the proprietor, all gave us advice on finding our way back to the apartment we had rented. We had a great time, good food, at a fair price and will keep our promises to return.

Came with charred veg, sprouts, a polenta cake, and dollops of sauce that I never identified. The beef rumpsteak was a perfect rare cook, which is absolutely necessary for this 'tough' cut of beef. Nicely seasoned, a nice mayo-based dipping sauce, a nice potato gratin, and a little bit of sand in my salad (can't win 'em all). 3.5 rounded up.
