I simply love Loccitane's product. Found out while I was looking into the map planning our cross country drive.
Had to stop by and check it out since they have a tour.
Luckily I called the day before and enquire about their factory tour. I made a reservation, it's a free tour but reservation is mandatory and u need to request for English speaking tour. They have limited spots only for the English tours and I believe 2 tours per day, one at 11am and one at 2 or 3pm.
Plenty of parking available, and we went to the shop and checked in for the tour.
Had a good understanding how the brand started, their core values, the ingredients use, the production, and the source of their ingredients. We had a little tour of their production line, their museums and lastly they gave each of us a little bottle of shampoo as a souvenir.
The boutique shop was the last stop and everyone take the advantage to buy some gift sets as a souvenir.
I bought a few items not available in the USA market, didn't buy much since there was no discount at all at the factory which was surprising. I just didn't want to add more weigh to my luggage since I can also get their products cheaper at L'occitane at the outlets in US.
Overall, it was a fun trip, took us about 1 hour total which was a perfect stopover if u are driving cross country in France. read more
