L'O seemed very promising at first. Everyone greets you with a bonsoir for dinner. We received our menus promptly. Thereafter it was just a waiting game. No one came over for a good 10 mins. After we received our drinks, we had to wait another 10 mins. However once the orders were placed, the food came out at an appropriate time.
The chicken curry was excellent. It was seasoned well and had good flavor. The salmon needed a little more salt and pepper. The sauce that came with the fish was great but there was not enough of it. We would have asked for more sauce but the server was way too busy. We ordered a second round of drinks. My wife's glass of champagne came out correctly. But they brought me a glass of white wine when I ordered a red. I showed him which wine I ordered on the menu. Nothing came out. When I received the bill, the glass of white wine was charged. After we mentioned that I never received my red wine, they offered limoncello as an apology. It was a kind gesture but we noticed they did the same with the table in front of us.
I felt bad because our server was clearly busy and had too many tables. I asked him why he had too big of a section to cover. He responded "I am solo." There is no way you can provide good service when you have 10 tables to take care of. It is too bad because the restaurant is located right on the beach. But perhaps that is the only big thing going for them. read more
