I did wait a long time for the meal, so if you're in a hurry, I would take that into consideration. The bolognese sauce was FANTASTIC and I must say was the best I've ever had. The tables are classic string wood with benches, booths, and comfy chairs. Christine is a great hostest / waitress / bartender (beer and wine and limited aperitif) who may even be cooking back in the kitchen. I had a good Wiezen beer and I ordered the special which was a Feldsalat, Turkey Rolls with mashed potatoes and a homemade turkey gravy. The Feldsalat had bacon strip crumbles, bacon vinaigrette dressing and homemade croutons that were straight from the oven and still hot. So good! They will only use locally sourced beef from Weiden. They have a wide array of styles of burger you may chose from. My favorite is the Mexican burger. The single patty is all you need. There is not much room to sit hence plan to order in advance and take it home. They do have a container size sitting area next to the main place where you can be seated but I wouldn't go there with a party of of more than 10 people to be seated. The service is great.
