He is writing his name already, on his own. There are a lot of choices for childcare in Maple Grove, but I feel so passionately about the staff that support and pour love and knowledge into my child. My youngest is starting next month and I have no hesitations on sending him based on the support and leadership of the directors and the teachers. The staff are all supportive of my child, and if there are issues with my son, they are direct and collaborative on ways to make things better. We feel in the loop on what goes on day to day, and love the engaging and enriching activities that they spend hours planning. The pre-school classes go on field trips, which are so fun! If I had more children, Radiant would be my first (and only) choice.

I have tried sending this review on google but keeps disappearing,…read more My family had been sending our child to Radiant, and while I initially hoped for a positive experience, I have become increasingly concerned about the Director/ Management, and overall environment. There is a clear pattern of favoritism where certain students and staff are treated preferentially, while others are spoken about negatively and treated very unfairly. This behavior creates a divisive and uncomfortable atmosphere that feels more like high school drama than professional Childcare. More importantly, violent behavior (Biting, Hitting, Kicking, Spitting, Throwing things, tipping shelf's, throwing chairs, destroying the classroom, and much more)-parents ask your child if someone in there class is not nice!!!!) (better yet arrive unexpectedly to the class and see for yourself!!!! ) this behavior from certain students poses a real risk to the safety of both children and staff. Despite raising these safety concerns multiple times and requesting that certain students be kept apart to protect everyone, management has failed to take appropriate action. The Director/management's immature and unprofessional behavior only adds to a tense atmosphere that feels more like high school drama than a safe, nurturing environment. It's deeply frustrating and alarming that those entrusted with caring for children behave in a way that undermines trust and safety. I sincerely hope the school takes these serious issues to heart and works toward creating a safer, more respectful environment for all children and families. Parents, students and Staff deserve better than this chaotic and unfair environment.

They still get emotional when we reflect on how much they miss TCI as TCI has been such an integral part of our lives for so long! They fingerknit (something they learned at the school) as they reflect and reminisce. I've had both of my daughters attend TCI - my oldest started at age 4 and went until she went to Kindergarten and came back for all the breaks and the summer. My youngest started at 20 months and just graduated this past summer at 5.5 years old. I frequently travel for work and my kids have been to over 10 child care/day care facilities (Creme, other montessoris, Goddard, Kindercare, ISM private academy, immersion academies etc.) and my oldest will be in 2nd grade at XinXing Academy in Hopkins....so I can confidently say that TCI is, by far, the best school for children for SO many reasons. They are 1000% child focused. - They always do what is best for the children from how the environment is carefully prepared and the word choices the guides use in each language they speak. - The environment is set up for a child's lifetime success and it is absolutely beautiful with high quality materials and crazy attention to detail. - The children learn independence and responsibility - they get their own water and snack, they sweep up their own messes, materials are put away when completed. Plus they learn how to plant and pick their own food in the garden. - The guides are HIGHLY qualified in both the toddler and children house communities (think graduate level credentials) in addition to the AMI certification. This is a huge difference compared the frequently underpaid 'teachers' in 'day cares' that just watch the kids. - The lead teacher and staff are amazing partners in parenting - they help think through challenges a child might be having and provide a lot of insight into their development - it's like having a developmental coach for the child! Some things to be aware of is that you need to make lunch each day - I know other places will provide lunch, TCI does not. There are a lot fewer pictures that you receive in comparison to other pictures - as Lishi said, the focus is on child development, not taking pictures. I would be happy to talk to any parent who is interested in TCI - I know that sometimes it is daunting if you aren't familiar with the Montessori approach. I've added in a few pictures to this review - these are my children only (which is why I blocked out the other child's face). Masks are not required, the one picture that had a mask on was because my daughter was coughing and I didn't want her to get others sick :)

There are lots of choices to accommodate what your family wants; you can choose to have lessons from a student, a graduate, or a professor; you can choose different lengths of time for your lessons; and you can also choose to have your lessons at one of the several satellite locations around the metro. You can also work with your instructor to take lessons over the summer, or just over the school year (SO great when kids are first starting out to not take the summer off - they lose so much over those months). When I attended back in 2016-2017, they sent out an email to parents telling their kids not to be friends with me. What kind of establishment does that? Curtis would constantly pull me into his office for the smallest infractions and would come up to me in the hallways and lobby with accusatory behavior when I wasn't doing anything wrong.
