My family and I love Little Newton's in Plymouth! The communication with the teachers and director team is great. The kindertales app to follow up on your child(ren)'s day is amazing and you can even update all of the needed forms for the center through the app itself. The bond the teachers build with you is so special and with the center being as big as it is you can watch your baby grow and build so many memories at each stage. Love this daycare! Every teacher cares so much about their classes and students. Even teachers I didn't recognize knew my son by name! Each class has a curriculum in place where your child learns math, reading, science, art, and even other languages! My two year old son came home once and told me about kookaburras and I was absolutely floored. There are extra dance/gymnastics lessons held at Little Newtons as well, if your child is interested. Children (pre-schoolers and up) create hundreds of art projects for you to take home or put in your office. Also, compared to other childcare options in the area, this place is SO AFFORDABLE! If you have more than one child, there's a 10% discount on each additional child! I recommend this place to every parent I know, I love Little Newtons! read more

Little Newtons has been a wonderful and caring learning environment for 2 of my children. If they had ever struggled with behavior they take the time reassure them and help them to engage fully in the classroom and with other children. I think the two one-star reviews are being way too hard on this place. I just took a tour with Nicole to enroll my infant and it looked fine. Not as glamorous as New Horizons or Kindercare or montessori schools, but those are $125 more per WEEK or $500/month which is an insane amount of money. Frankly, my expectations going in were pretty low with the "too good to be true" infant rate they charge of $284/week for 5 days a week. But, my husband and I ended up being pleasantly surprised to the point that we are going to choose this place (after looking at all kinds of centers and in-home options). The second reviewer sounds like a snob. God forbid they use cloth diapers or the office doesn't look perfect. That's how they keep tuition low!!! As long as the kids are taken care of, happy, and learning is what is important. And, from what I saw, the kids looked happy and the place looked clean. The music didn't bother me. Seems like it would be fun for the kids. I didn't see this myself, but realistically I can see the teachers texting too much (they are young), but how do you know they don't do that at other centers as well? i will see how infant care goes and re-assess whether or not to go somewhere else for toddler care at that point. But, for infant care, I think it looks great. read more

My daughter attended here and would come home talking about her teacher status of boyfriend and marriage. This daycare does not work with you on payments whatsoever. I had taken my daughter out due to payments and not being able to handle it. I wanted one extension for the last week. I reached out to the director a month of advance. We ended on good terms via email for working something out. I didn't hear back from her for two weeks and took out a large sum from my account on what I wanted to prevent. They don't work with you even how desperate your circumstances are. The facility cleanliness wouldn't say the greatest. I've worked with a few daycares since moving/relocating and from daycare to preschool and I've never experienced no understanding inhumane customer service. The term they used was "pull" for payments and they could not work with me. read more

My husband and I went on a tour of this center and were absolutely appalled at how things were operated. Our first impression was the "office" were were brought into. Empty cardboard boxes of diapers and other supplies were strewn about and we were asked to sit down on folding chairs in front of a very messy desk. This is not the first impression I would like parents to see if I was running a business. The director had no paperwork or information to provide us to bring home to look over. No information about tuition rates, hours of operation, daily schedules, etc. Next we began our tour in the infant room. One infant teacher walked by us reeking of cigarette smoke. That was our second bad impression. The teachers had music playing which was pop music that was way too loud for little babies. They use cloth diapers which to me sounds incredibly unsanitary. Next we toured the toddler classroom. The one positive thing was that all the little ones looked very happy. When I asked about potty training, the director told me that they start in this classroom. I asked where the bathrooms were and she said they use potty chairs. I was FLOORED! You have little kids using potty chairs strewn about the classroom?? I could not believe that! Where is the dignity of allowing a child to use the bathroom? I know they are only two years old but they shouldn't have to pee on a potty chair in the middle of the classroom. I taught preschool for several years and could never imagine telling parents that their children will have to use the bathroom in a potty chair. Absolutely disgusting!! A few other things that bothered me was the playground - old, shabby and not safely designed. The hallways were dirty and the teachers were poorly dressed. Some were wearing sweatpants while others had shirts on that were not appropriate for children with their breasts hanging out. If you want to present yourself as a professional school and claim that "Brilliance is Guaranteed" then you should make sure your staff looks professional. I could never imagine going to work in sweatpants. I teach full time and know what it is like to work with children, get messy, and sit on the floor. However I still dress professionally and present myself in a professional manner. Don't even bother taking the time to tour this center. read more

Our two girls have been at LNN for about 9 months and they love it. The curriculum is much more organized than other daycare 'babysitting' behavior we've experienced - they actually have aggressive learning activities and everyday I'm bringing home evidence of the fun they've had. Go elsewhere if you want fancy, high end toys and a beautiful building, but at the LNN school in Plymouth my girls are attached to the teachers and look forward to it, which is priceless and we love to watch them grow/learn by it. read more

We absolutely LOVED our time at Little Newton's. We spent three years there with 2 children attending. The only reason we left was we are moving and one of the hardest parts of moving was leaving this incredible daycare. My daughters learned so much and I feel like they are so well prepared for school. They loved their teachers and even would pretend to be their teachers while playing "school" at home. So I'd say they made a lasting impression. The building set up is great as it's an old school building with classrooms and wonderful indoor and outdoor play spaces. The structure of the day is great. They do so many activities throughout the day and get the kids moving their bodies too. Really good variety in the days. If we ever had a concern (which was RARE) the teachers and directors were quick to address it. Very responsive. Little Newton's felt like a second family for us and made dropping our off girls every day so easy knowing they were somewhere they were loved, cared for and learning/thriving. I cannot recommend Little Newton's enough to anyone who asks. The teachers, aids, directors are all incredible people. read more

I currently have a 3 year old boy and a 1year old girl enrolled at the LNN in Plymouth. My son has been there since he was a little over 1. First off - let me tell you that you can NOT go wrong with this school! Not only are the prices fantastic but the staff is absolutely wonderful too. I work full time - so when we first needed daycare we ended up using daycare chain. It was okay but you had to provide diapers, food, and it was still pretty spendy. When my son was about 1 year old we decided to try changing locations and because of a co-worker I was turned onto Lil Newton's Nest. I couldn't believe everything that was included and was taken a back by the schedule they hold and of course wondered how good the teachers were. (They basically change things everything 15-20 minutes). I was NOT disapointed! My son started LOVING to go to "school". He would ask for his teachers when we would get in the car and most of the time barely gave me a good bye hug before running off to play. He's made some wonderful friends. My son also had a really horrible milk allergy and they were SUPER sensitive to it without alot of hoopla. They had soy milk and gave him alternate foods. I could bring in my own food if I wanted but didn't have to. It was really nice! The thing I really love is that I can SEE him learning. The kid can count to 20 in english AND spanish! And I he identifies letters and numbers. They also do a really good job with manners. All the lead teachers we've had so far (we've been in 4 different rooms now, younger infants, older infant, toddler, and preschool) have been incredibly dedicated and enthusiastic. You can tell they ACTUALLY want to be there and really enjoy what they do. If I've ever had a concern they will take the time to talk with me about it and have tips to do at home too. (Oh, and my son is potty trained because of them too!) The only negative is that you will get over run with art. :) They do art projects EVERY DAY so you get at least 5 pieces every week but I have a problem throwing them all away - so I have an art pile at home from the last couple years. :) Bottom line - if you're looking for a good place for your kids - look no further than LNN!! read more

The lack of diversity at this center is appalling to say the least. With a top notch facility, top notch programs, and top notch management, how can something as little as diversity be such an issue. Children and staff itself! Engaging in cultures and heritage all around the world are a must for our children, what better then to be taught and be interacting with folks of different background all over the world! read more

We absolutely LOVE Lil Newtons Nest! We are so happy we moved our daughter from an inhome setting to this school-based center. The teachers are so kind & caring - the staff are amazing. They know our family by name -which is huge for a school with many kids. Our daughter comes home weekly with new words & new sounds she knows - it's unbelievable. We were referred to LNN by some friends & we continue to refer our friends to LNN. We HIGHLY recommend LNN for all ages!! We love their philosophy & mission - fits right in with our family. read more
