Wife's 27 euro chicken couscous came with chicken drumstick, thigh, and part of a chicken breast on one plate, soup with vegetables on a second plate, and garbanzo beans and vegetables on third plate. My 35 euro lamb with rice plate came with a mixed rice and a huge 16 ounce slab of juicy lamb, one of the biggest pieces of lamb that I've seen served anywhere. If I had to do it again, I would order the lamb tajines, with a smaller portion of lamb mixed with apricots, raisins. They charged 11 euros for salad, and 6 euros for bottled water, bringin the total to 79 euros or $93.52. All that was missing was the belly dancers to make up for a memorable evening

Portions were really good and everything was super tasty. Not the absolute best food I've ever had, but I was not disappointed. Staff here are quite friendly. Even though they don't all speak English, they are very nice and helpful. And yes, they do have English menus at least. Really enjoyed Essaouira, glad I made the trip here.
