For appetizers, we had a degustation of Parmigiano and a separate plate of local hams. The quality of products was high and we enjoyed a lot (but be aware that it is really more of a degustation so that quantities are small). In the region, you can eat a special type of very greasy ham with fried polenta and this specialty was also part of the degustation, along with normal Parma, and some sausage. For Parmigiano, we were served 4 different types, one with honey, one spicy (surprising texture and taste), and two other different maturation time. So, as you already know, pastas were amazing: we had some mushrooms ones which may sound quite common but they were delicious. It was part of the suggestions of the day. We also had some raviolis filled with ricotta with asparagus and ham: again a quite common recipe but the taste was really really good!

First, despite my last visit here has been 5 years ago, they recognized, remembered, and welcomed me when I arrived! Service has been perfect, location is excellent, the wine list, with 60 pages from all Regions and Countries, can satisfy all preferences. Finally, the food is a perfect combination of traditional/local recipes and innovative proposals. I must come here again not waiting another 5 years!!

We discovered this shop on a trip to Parma, and it was a very welcome surprise! I am not usually a…read morewaffle person, but the photos of the chocolate waffle topped with strawberries and whipped cream looked wonderful so I took a chance. It was every bit as good as it looked, and my daughter felt the same way about the vanilla waffle topped with mixed berries, chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. My son ate three donuts, and would have eaten more if there had been any! The cakes looked delicious as well, and we had a very nice chat with the owner and her family.
