Meh. There was nothing terrible about Le Crepe Chignon, it was just not great either. There also wasn't a whole lot of mushroom, but the brie cheese was oozing so that was good. - Crepe with Shrimp: The crepe itself was super crispy and a bit tough to cut, which was disappointing. The shrimp filling was tasty. - Chocllste Crepe: Soooo much chocolate, which I loved. Unfortunately, they added a cheese sauce into the crepe which didn't really go with the chocolate and made it taste weird. - Choco Maya: Thick and tasty hot chocolate. Yum! Good location, friendly service albeit a bit slow. Not as deal breaker though. The main disappointment was really with the crepes - was hoping for more and didn't quite get it.

Kids had Nutella crepes it was too chocolaty for them but they enjoyed the cute presentation! They asked for strawberry on the side but it wasn't fresh strawberries it was more of a compote. Their house smoothie is very refreshing! Over all we really enjoyed the breakfast we had here! If you are in Rimouski it's worth a visit

English: Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend coming here for lunch/dinner. The menu seems large and extensive, but the quality isn't great. We expected large portions from the pictures online, but somehow it didn't really live up to that. We've been here a few times for breakfast and have enjoyed their French toast and crepes, and it's always super funny to look at all the unique (and sometimes a bit odd) artwork, but the food was disappointing. Our waitress was very sweet and energetic, though. Here's what we tried: -Garlic Bread Gratinée: 5/10 - It isn't bad but it isn't great. I mean, it's just bread, garlic, and cheese, so it can't be gross. The bread wasn't toasted enough, though, and there wasn't enough garlic flavor to pull through the overwhelming layer of half-melted cheese. -Half Portion Seafood Cipaille: 6/10 - It looked better in pictures from years before. It was a pile of decent bechamel sauce with chunks of lobster, fish, shrimp, and scallops on top of a flavorless pastry. The pastry really was not good, but the fish itself was pretty abundant. The side salad and vegetables were average and simple. It also came with mashed potatoes which actually had a pretty decent taste to them! The garlic crouton, however, was a piece of barely toasted yet weirdly stale bread with a single, measly smear of garlic butter. -Fisherman's Burger: 2/10 - Was excited about the seaweed pesto as we had never tried this before but it was average. It tasted just of seaweed. The burger had big chunks of lobster but it was cold so it felt like it had been preboiled and just grabbed out of the fridge. The temperature contrast with the warm bun was not appealing.

Good food had a lobster price 25/lb. The service was excellent and our server was great, with a…read moresmile.

The menu is simple with enough variety for most anyone including vegetarians. The crepes are the star of the menu and are a great choice. I'm not complaining, but the portions are not huge. They are good portions and well prepared, but not the big plates some places serve. The coffee program is all espresso when we visited in July 2023. Again, very good coffee. The staff was excellent and very helpful with the menu and choices, in French and in English. It's a change of pace from some of the other breakfast spots in the area and I hope it does well.
