Picked up the bike 10 days later and was handed a bill for almost $800!!! They never called to say the repair would exceed the estimate. I was forced to pay or surrender the bike. But it got worse from there. They botched the job so badly that the bike no longer shifts above 3rd gear unless I switch to "manual mode" and FORCE it to go higher. The bike will only attain 60 m.p.h. in top gear now where it's designed to reach 110 m.p.h. and used to cruise 80 easily. But wait...there's more! When I got it back and rode it home...I parked on the porch and noticed that it now LEAKED OIL to boot!!! I will NEVER take ANY bike back there for any reason nor would I EVER recommend them to a potential customer. I will now have to re-do the job myself. My bike is unusable currently and has been garaged since I got it back from Monkey Barz. Worst repair shop experience of my life...and I'm 65 years old!

I finally spoke to service about an insurance estimate, $450 up front to write the estimate. S×S is totalled, so they lost a sale of a new sxs. Edit after Business Manager's response: The bigger issue is the service department not returning calls/online messages. IF my unit was to be placed in your service department for estimate/repair, I would be unable to get updates. I live an hour away, so dropping in to find out isn't an option. I'm currently working with my insurance company on the estimate fee. But, your people not responding to messages yet you were able to respond to a negative review in mere minutes? This speaks volumes about your peoples ideas about service.

It could be an entirely new job position they add to your plate, you are expected to do it all. If you ask for compensation, the owner will fire you, and tell everyone you quit. I loved working there, until I realized what everyone warned me about was true. Also, 3 people left within a month of me being fired and everyone was told they quit too. Very toxic work environment as the owner will harass you as well as get other male employees to harass you. Look online for prices before buying from this dealership as pricing is lower online and Harley-Davidson *HD.com* makes dealerships match prices. This is no secret, as we would have customers tell us this when they saw the prices on MotorClothes online compared to in store.
