Initially, I tried booking online and was primarily interested in a shag or curly cut. I have some natural curls/waves I am trying to embrace and love the way a shag really allows my heavy hair the volume it needs. Neither were available online so I opened to call in and just book a normal haircut. I was paired with Lila. At check in, I was offered a beverage. I chose mimosa, and directed to the chair to discuss my concerns. I shared my previous experiences and showed up with my hair in its natural state to show her what I was working with. We agreed on a very altered cut and curtain bangs. With a wash and blowout, the entire thing took about 45minutes. I am was so happy with the results. The process was very fair and I will certainly be back. I really appreciated that Lila was honest about her not specializing in either the shag or curly cut I initially requested. I was still very pleased and hope people go to her for their hair.

I even prebooked for a 10 week appointment and just found out, 4 days before my appointment, that my newest stylist has left the salon. I've reached out on social media and was told to see the owner or other top level stylists that have been there longer. I have seen stylists all the way from level 1 to level 3 so the fact that "they're newer and were in training" should not be an excuse. I don't feel like I should book with the owner to guarantee to be seen. I love, love, loved my last stylist and plan to find where she went and follow her. Gray and Graham can justify turnover however they please but it's not normal.

I would not recommend this salon honestly. Skyler did my hair back in the fall last year and I came…read moreback to her in the beginning of April to just add more blue and black. She said she couldnt do it. She said she couldnt remove the blue out of my hair. So I asked her if she could do two different color browns and she said she couldnt do that either. So im sitting here wondering why cant she just add more color in my hair. She tells me she could only do one color. My hair was healthy before coming back here. She puts bleach in my hair one time and she said she couldnt get the color that she put in out. So that the only thing she can do is put my natural color in and wait for the blue to come out on its own!!. In the mean time while sitting with the bleach in, another girl was in there trying to get purple put in. Her hair starts smoking and falling out. Which was so scary. But the girl didnt tell her that she boxed colored her hair 6 months ago. Thats besides the point she should have asked. She died my hair one solid brown color which I didnt like at all. She didnt style it or anything and charged me $185.00 which I paid. I left the salon and went somewhere else and my hair was falling out. The salon I went to said my hair was fried and they had to cut 8 inches off along with a color correction because she damaged it so badly. I messaged skyler explaining to her what happened and she didnt even apologize for what she did. I asked her for a refund which she did give me. Ive had to pay over $600 to get it fixed. I been doing everything i can to get my hair to grow out and skyler new I was also getting married in December. Now do to her negligence my hair will not be long for my wedding. I went into her salon with a letter explaining the situation. The other salon had recommended extentions. I walked into her salon being respectful because there were people in there. I gave her the papers and explained again letting her know that I would like her to put extensions in. I was very quit because i didnt want to make a scene. She then loud caps me where everyone in her salon can here us speaking. And says you want me to do these extensions for free?? I said yes because YOU damaged it. She says my lawyer will get with you have a nice day. Ive never had this experience before with any professional salon but this is unprofessional.
