Without the receipt, I can't say exactly what happened or whether it was simply an innocent mistake, and I wish I had noticed the amount while we were still there so I could have asked about it. But it bothered me enough that I was still thinking about it several hours later. It's unfortunate because otherwise this was a charming little shop with some fun things to browse, and we enjoyed the ice cream.
