The staff remember them. There is a new infant and this time the American Nonna joined the nuclear family for the newborn's first outing. The setting amid vineyards, fragrant gardens, and sculptures in a renovated estate is premier among the settings I've been privileged to frequent in Italy as "Nonna." A spa with full services accommodates adults - providing the best deep tissue massage that either female in the party has ever had (sampled from East Coast to West Coast and all regions in between in USA). While this elegant establishment caters primarily to adults (predominantly Italian with a smattering of tourists), the welcome to children is extraordinary. L'Albereta teddy bears were placed on their beds at night for the wee ones and an entire wing is devoted to a children's playroom equipped for all ages (WII gamesets to Duplo blocks). An enormous indoor warm pool provides pool play for the parent and child - next to a well equipped exercise room. And the wines and food! Three different restaurants, and our babies were welcomed. This trip I had no choice. I checked in and got an "upgrade". What that means is I got a bathrobe and a tea maker and a king-sized bed? But truthfully, I couldn't walk around the room as the bed was too big for the room and I'm kind of a big guy. I've stayed in other AC Hotels - Bologna twice and Firenze (Florence) - but this one is NOT a customer-oriented hotel. More of a business hotel. Frankly, their service is lousy. The next day they didn't clean my room. It was around 3 pm. I hadn't slept at all the night before and I needed to take a nap. The front desk called and said they had to clean the room as the maids were leaving. I told her I needed to sleep and she told me to come to the front desk to get my towels. Wow. In the end, I didn't sleep the three nights I stayed here. Mainly, because of how the doors close. They actually slam! And you can hear that in your rooms. Other reviewers have complained that the walls are thin. As I was leaving the hotel, I got to the elevator just before the floor manager. My hands were full, so I thought she would press the button for me. She did, but she got into the elevator, closed the doors and left me standing there! Unbelievable. This is the attitude of the hotel. It's a management thing. I spoke to the manager when I initially tried to stay there. He's a tall bald guy. They won't budge despite your Platinum status. When my girlfriend called to complain, the manager said they have many, many Platinum members, so his hands are tied. He did finally agree to upgrade me to a suite - after 20 minutes on the phone - but only on the last night, and by then, I was exhausted, miserable and I decided to leave the hotel early to go home to sleep! After 3 nights of bad / no sleep, a 6-hour drive through a rain & snowstorm awaited me - it was grueling. No grazie.

The room I had was big with a big bathroom, Service great, on the 3rd floor very quiet. The breakfast is really good compared to other hotels I have been in Brescia. The chef is making fresh eggs as you like it and I didn't miss anything for a good start in the morning. Parking was no problem. In the evening they offer a buffet for 7€, I didn't eat there but it looked very good as I was walking by.... the citycenter is really close, just 5 minute walk. I hope you will enjoy your stay as I did. I stayed here 4 weeks and can not complain. I forgot, they have as well a small gym with 2 treadmills and some weights.....

Good business hotel on the outskirt of Milan. Spacious bed, have a Michelin star rated restaurant…read moreright downstairs. Staff is friendly, although at times it is a bit slow. My rate comes with breakfast, and their selection of food choices are pretty good as well. One of the downside is that there is not much to do outside the hotel. There are only a handful of restaurants within walking distance, and there is no market or store nearby.
