The food just fell short of my expectations. My starter, fried babybel, was fine although it was a bit bland and served in a glass that made it difficult to eat. I ordered the hamburger (others had recommended it to me) and was disappointed. My main issue was the bun - too big and very dry. It reminded me of the burger buns you can buy in French supermarkets (not a good thing) which is too bad because the rest of the burger was tasty. I didn't bother with dessert because I'd been told that a giant jar of candy would accompany the bill. I just loooooved the candy at the end of the meal - what an awesome idea!

Very nice evening for 2 with neat atmosphere. 3min walking distance from hotel and was super convenient. French menu as well as translated in English version available. Was late but wanted to try their rib eye and beef tartare. Steak ordered med, came out a fantastic med rare-med. Just past rare center and not quite getting to med pink. Well flavored and fat tenderness. Really enjoyed the cut. Potatoes were seasoned wonderfully and bit crispy outside, soft inside with skin on. 25euros. Beef tartare was with same potatoes and side salad vinaigrette dressing. First time trying tartare and was much better than expected. Mixed in seasoning and slight sauce was nice consistency. Went well by itself as well as the baguette slices. Wife didn't want to have anything with it when ordered but ended up sharing all of it. 17 euros. Our table was right in front of the desert prep table, saw some premade deserts being placed on plates and microwaved. Not store bought but restaurant made... but decided not for try desert. Would definitely return and try some other items on the menu.

About a year ago, when i looked for restaurants in Suresnes, Au Pere Lapin would show up as the…read morehighest rated restaurant in the region. Today, when I came to write the review, there are only two reviews both rating the restaurant to be 3-stars, which is more accurate in my opinion. The 4-star and 5-star reviews both got filtered. At any rate, located on a hill with a great view of the Eiffel Tower from afar, this restaurant is beautifully decorated with large dining areas and superb service. However, the food leaves you wanting. We came as a large group of 15 and we were given the daily price fixed menu. Based on what others have ordered at other tables and the website, I can see that they offer more than just the prix-fixed menu, but we were not offered such luxuries. For entree/appetizer, we had a choice between the rabbit terrine and the asparagus veloute. For plat/main, we had a choice between a fish and a farmed chicken risotto. For dessert, it was cheese assortment or sorbet, or tiramisu. The rabbit terrine was fantastic and I was excited to see what would come after, but after tasting my veloute, i was pretty disappointed. The veloute was bitter and the salmon eggs in there were so disgustingly fishy that no one at the table who ordered it ate it. The farmed chicken risotto was passable. The chicken was really dry and the risotto was really buttery. The shitake mushroom was overpowering for the risotto. The fish was really fishy with its skin on (i wouldnt order anything with fish at this restaurant). Although the vegetables that accompanied it was great - it tasted like a chinese stir-fry, which was kinda weird. The tiramisu was not a real tiramisu. It was essentially whipped cream with berry jam in between, and some berries. If you want great price-fixed french menu, I would suggest that you head down the hill to L'Oasis, where the food is great and the prices are more reasonable. However, if you're looking for ambiance and a nice outdoor patio, this place is probably the only place in the area that will provide you with that. It's unfortunate the food is so unpalatable. Also, for dinner, they don't open until 8pm...
