Massages with Dana are great! Amy is a seasoned hair stylist and I would also recommend her services. I would not, however, recommend tanning packages. You have repeat local customers coming back each spring to start their tanning only to find out that their tanning package has expired from last season. Is this how you take care of your customers? Not only that, but when starting out, most people can only tan for a short time, but you still have to use a whole session when you're only tanning for five minutes, which makes their session extremely expensive. Their pedicures are hit or miss, but they do not seem to scrape out the dead skin from underneath your nails. I had a manicure there one time & the girl did not soak my nails at all, she pushed the cuticles back dry, and did not clean beneath the nails either. The people there are very nice, but I prefer great customer service, and this isn't it.

The lady I had was very meticulous-great, but I think she was new so she took quite a while. Not the reason I'm unhappy. With the shellac polish, she put on a top coat, then another coat that for some reason left my nails looking cloudy. This sometimes happens to me if I've had the polish on for 2 weeks and the coats start to break down or if I get something on it, but it was immediately after the top coat that it was cloudy-and one of the main reasons I get shellac is because I want the shiny aspect of it. If you check out my pictures attached, it looks like the polish is matte. I know, I should have spoke up, but I wasn't sure if by washing my hands it would have done anything- it didn't. I won't be going here again, there's multiple other nail salons in Fondy that I have yet to try.
